Joint Operation Leads to Major Drug Bust in Kuilsriver

On Saturday night, the Titanium Securitas CPU team participated in a joint operation alongside Kuilsriver SAPS and Law Enforcement, focusing on community safety and removing illegal fi****ms and narcotics from the streets.

Shortly after the briefing concluded, the operation kicked off with a visit to a residential premises that had been identified as a possible drug distribution point.

SAPS members swiftly entered the premises, followed by Titanium Securitas officers. The property was thoroughly searched when a shoebox, which appeared suspiciously out of place, caught the attention of the team.

Upon closer inspection, multiple small bags containing a white powder, suspected to be co***ne, were discovered inside the box.

After further examination under sufficient light, the substance was confirmed to have the same consistency and appearance as co***ne. The suspect was immediately arrested and transported to Kuilsriver SAPS for further processing.

The drugs were subsequently weighed and estimated to have a street value of approximately R860 000.

A strong reminder that teamwork between private security and law enforcement agencies continues to play a vital role in keeping our communities safe.

Vehicle Break-In Suspect Arrested and Stolen Items Recovered.

Early yesterday morning, shortly after 04:00, the Titanium Securitas Control Centre received a panic signal from a property in De Ville Close.

Titanium Securitas Armed Response officers immediately responded to the location. Upon arrival, the client informed officers that four suspects had broken into their neighbour’s vehicle.

After reviewing the available CCTV footage, officers confirmed the description of the suspects as well as the direction in which they fled. The Titanium officers followed the suspects’ route and discovered that they had forced their way through a park gate.

Further investigation in the park led to the recovery of the stolen property, which had been hidden in nearby bushes. Although no suspects were initially located in the park, the search continued in the surrounding streets.

While some officers secured the recovered property, additional Titanium officers continued searching the area for the suspects.

Not long into the search, one suspect matching the description seen on the CCTV footage was located and detained. The suspect was positively identified and handed over to Brackenfell SAPS for further processing.

Excellent teamwork, rapid response, and dedication from all members involved.

Quick Action Leads to Successful Suspect Detainment

Shortly after 15:00, Titanium Securitas received information regarding a possible house break-in at a residence in Alwyn Street, Durbanville.

Without hesitation, the Titanium CPU team immediately jumped into action, searching the surrounding area after confirmation that the suspects had fled the scene.

After approximately 20 minutes, both suspects matching the provided description were located and detained by the Titanium team in Mauritius Crescent, Stellenberg.

Moments later, Durbanville SAPS arrived on scene and transported the suspects for further processing on charges related to the attempted house break-in.

Excellent teamwork and rapid response by all involved.

Fatal Shooting Incident

Last night shortly after 19:00, the Titanium Securitas Medical Response Team was alerted to a shooting incident in the Wallecedene area where multiple individuals had reportedly been shot.

Upon arrival on scene, the Titanium medical team was informed that two patients had already been transported to hospital by private vehicle due to the severity of their injuries. Tragically, a third patient sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was declared deceased on scene.

Members of the South African Police Service were on scene and have launched a full investigation into the incident.

Joint Operation Leads to Multiple Arrests

Last weekend, the Titanium Securitas CPU team attended another successful joint operation in the Phisantekraal area alongside Durbanville SAPS.

The operation commenced with stop-and-search procedures, followed by targeted house searches conducted under SAPS-issued warrants, focusing on narcotics and illegal fi****ms.

A total of 10 arrests were made by Titanium CPU and SAPS members during the operation. Recovered items included 2 blank-firing fi****ms, 1 knife, and various narcotics.

Swift Response Leads to Arrests and Recovery of Stolen Property

Midday Saturday, Titanium Securitas received information regarding two males who had allegedly been robbed by three suspects. Descriptions of the suspects, along with their fleeing direction, were immediately shared with the Titanium CPU team.

Titanium CPU members swiftly started searching the area, focusing especially on known escape routes. Not long after the search commenced, six individuals were spotted walking down Drosdy Street, Kraaifontein.

Upon closer inspection, three of the six individuals matched the descriptions provided by the victims. All six suspects were detained and searched while awaiting the arrival of Kraaifontein SAPS.

During the search, officers recovered the stolen property. In addition, approximately 20 mandrax tablets were also found in the suspects’ possession.

All suspects, along with the recovered drugs, were handed over to Kraaifontein SAPS for further processing.

This incident serves as an important reminder: if you ever find yourself in an unfortunate situation, try to provide as much information as possible. Descriptions, clothing, direction of travel, and any other details can play a vital role in helping officers quickly locate and apprehend suspects.

Joint Operation Leads to Successful Arrests

Mid-Thursday morning, the Titanium Securitas CPU joined forces with CoCT Metro Police and Durbanville SAPS in Phisantekraal for a pre-operational briefing. During the briefing, intelligence was received regarding several residential addresses allegedly linked to the storage and use of narcotics.

All units swiftly mobilised and proceeded to the first address. Although the initial search yielded no success, members remained determined and continued searches at additional residences.

The persistence and teamwork paid off, resulting in the arrest of four suspects. During the searches, various drug paraphernalia was discovered, and two of the suspects were caught in the act of using illegal substances.

The operation concluded successfully, with suspects arrested and drug-related items removed from the streets.

A clear example of outstanding teamwork and cooperation between all services involved.

Theft Suspect Caught

During the course of last week, Titanium Securitas CPU received a request for assistance from Durbanville SAPS regarding a suspect wanted for theft of a bicycle.

Titanium officers immediately responded to the suspect’s last known address. Upon arrival, they made contact with the homeowner, who confirmed that the suspect was residing on the property but was not present at the time.

The homeowner granted the Titanium officers permission to access the area where the suspect was staying. During the search, officers discovered a stolen bicycle.

While removing the bicycle, one of the officers heard movement in the backyard and immediately investigated. The wanted suspect was spotted moments before fleeing by jumping over nearby walls.

Following a 30-minute search of the surrounding area, the suspect was successfully located and detained. The suspect, along with the recovered stolen property, was handed over to Durbanville SAPS for further investigation and processing on multiple charges.
