Quick one that could save your spring garden 👇

If you've got jacarandas or poincianas, hold off on pruning them right now, these flower on wood that's already set, and cutting now risks losing this year's blooms entirely. Frangipanis are the exception: early spring (right now) is actually a good time for a light prune, while they're still dormant.

The move: for jacarandas and poincianas, wait until they've finished flowering. For frangipanis, now's actually a fine time to tidy them up. Your future self (and your street) will thank you.

Not sure when to prune what? That's what we're here for.
