Our Plant of the Month for April is the Grevillea Ellabella which is an attractive and vigorous groundcover with soft green foliage and attractive spidery red flowers from Autumn to Spring. It will grow to around 50cm high by 3 metres wide. This beautiful Grevillea will add a vibrant touch to any Landscape and will do well growing on an embankment or cascading down a retaining wall. Grevillea Ellabella thrives in full sun to part shade and adapts to a variety of soil types including coastal areas. Ellabella attracts nectar feeding birds to your garden. Once established it can handle dry spells and benefits from pruning to keep compact.

Bromeliads...these flowers are just stunning.
Most bromeliads prefer dappled shade or indirect light although there are some sun lovers. They make a great statement piece in a pot or as a colourful understorey plant in a shaded garden. They are an easy care plant with a very tropical look.
