Take a look at the close up image of the cornices.
Do you know the white cornice above and below the green curved cove cornice is not part of the original?
Believe it or not, the white cornices have been added on after.
Our cornice additions have been designed specifically to add straight onto the existing cornice, which saves all the mess & fuss of ripping down the existing. It also potentially saves the additional stress and expense of risking having your ceilings damaged in the process.

Why rip out when you can simply 'add-on?'

Ceiling Rose envy.

Time to focus on our Marlborough ceiling rose. This one, due to its depth is ideal for high ceilings and for showcasing chandeliers.

We keep hearing the same story: uneven tile edges around the doorway, then after-the-fact silicone filling where it shouldn’t be. 😟
At Authentic Additions, we recommend using our door trim for tiling BEFORE the tilers start so there’s a proper edge for the tilers to tile up to, giving you a clean finish.

New tiles are made thicker, so they end up sticking out when tiled up to the cornice. Some tilers recommend taking the cornice out (and charging you extra), but our tile trim was built specifically to fix the gap and keep everything aligned for that perfect edge-to-cornice look 😊🛠️
This product is made for installation before tiling, so if you're planning a bathroom renovation, do get in touch before your tilers rock up!

School holiday fun 🤩

Being stuck in an office by yourself can be quite lonely at times, but then I get to have time away to enjoy the school holidays with these 2 little munchkins.

Being a 'Nana' is way more exhausting than a full day in the office, but boy, it is SO rewarding
