It always feels good to give back to the community. Today I had the pleasure of visiting one of our very special customers to make a special delivery….

Our darling customer has been a foster carer for over 60 years and has helped many young babies in that time. With our littlest one at home growing up and in her toddler years, it was time to say goodbye to baby clothes, the swaddles, wraps and much more. I couldn’t think of anyone more deserving to pass all our baby items on to.

We are in awe of her service and dedication to helping others.

Pool and Spa Pro is a family business with over 30 years experience in the pool and spa industry. Business has grown quickly and we are looking to expand our service team.
Whether you're an experienced pool technician looking for a new opportunity, if you're enthusiastic to start your career in the pool industry, then we'd love to hear from you!
Previous knowledge and experience with of pools and/or spas would be an advantage but is not essential. If you have a positive attitude and eagerness to learn something new, training will be provided to the right candidate.
We aren't your typical pool shop! Our small team pride themselves on being able to perform the majority of own equipment repairs in house, rather than outsourcing them.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Your day-to day tasks will include but are not limited to:
Regular swimming pool cleaning
Installation of all pool & spa equipment & maintenance/repair of systems
Pool & spa servicing, water testing & balancing
Troubleshooting & diagnosis
Working independently out in the field
To be successful in your application you will:
Australian Drivers Licence (Required)
Have customer service skills and a positive attitude
Excellent problem-solving & time management skills
Reliable, punctual & well presented
Be able to work independently on-site and within a team environment
Have a good level of physical fitness & comfortable lifting 20kgs
Desire to learn new skills

💦 OUT WITH THE OLD… IN WITH THE PURESWIM! 💦

This one was definitely not your average filter change! 😅

This old ECA media filter had split so we replaced it with a brand-new Pureswim® Fibreglass Media Filter — and as you can see from the photos, access was just a little tight! 👀

With a narrow side passage, trees, decking, pipework and very limited room around the equipment, getting the old filter out and the new one into position took a bit more planning (and manoeuvring!) than usual.

But the end result was absolutely worth it. 👌

The new Pureswim fibreglass filter gives this pool a strong, durable filtration solution designed for long-term reliability and longevity, featuring:

💧 Heavy-duty fibreglass construction
💧 UV-stabilised and corrosion-resistant materials
💧 High-flow internal design
💧 Easy-to-operate 6-way multiport valve
💧 10-year warranty on the filter tank
💧 Paired with Pureswim Glass Filtration Media for excellent filtration performance

And despite the challenging location, the finished installation is neat, secure and professionally plumbed, with the new filter sitting nicely on its new base.

Big day for the boys last week - lots of digging at a customers backyard Reno to do our part of the project to get some pool pipes laid and new equipment installed. New Pureswim Chlorinator by Aquatic Elements QLD and filter by Pool Pro Products
