When you’re as obsessed with tomatoes as we are, you start seeing them everywhere

At first it’s normal — gardens, markets, seed catalogs, random conversations... then things start getting out of hand.

Next thing you know you’re spotting tomatoes in desserts and questioning if this has become a personality trait.

With only 2 regular markets left, we’re down to just 3 trays of tomatoes — that’s it. Until Gwynne Vaughan Park in June.

Still plenty to choose from though: peppers (hot & sweet), artichokes, eggplant, cucumbers, summer & winter squash, and Inca berries.

Hope to see you at one of the last stops:

A little community ask.

Our daughter’s school is getting ready to bring their outdoor green space to life next week, and we’d really love to help make it something special.

When her teacher heard that we grow seedlings, she reached out—and of course, we said yes. The only catch is… we mostly grow veggie starts, and this space needs hardy, sun-loving plants that can handle a bit of dry soil and not much watering.

So we thought we’d reach out to our amazing followers.

If you happen to be in Chilliwack or Hope and have any extra perennials, divisions, or tough garden plants you’re thinning out anyway—we would be so grateful to give them a new home at the school. Think anything that thrives in sunny, drier spots and doesn’t need a lot of attention.

We’ll happily drive around and pick things up over the next week before planting day.

If something comes to mind, commemt below or send us a message.
