The original plaster in one of this client's upstairs bedrooms was significantly cracked and falling off in chunks in areas.

To save time (and money!), we removed the lath & plaster and all the cellulose insulation from the exterior walls only, and back filled and plastered the corners to blend with the ceiling and two interior walls where plaster still had integrity.

The result? A properly insulated, newly drywalled room, finished with a gorgeous bold colour!

This client wanted to remove this oversized closet. Plaster walls meant that demolition needed to be done VERY carefully. Removing the closet doors, shelves and wall uncovered some challenges. Drywall that had been installed over top of the plaster inside the closet, and absence of flooring and baseboards inside the closet area.

Angled shims, precisely cut drywall, layers of plaster, flooring the client had on hand from a previous project, and new baseboards gave the client their desired result. A MUCH larger child's bedroom, while maintaining the plaster walls and flooring for the rest of the room, saving time and money.

The low basement ceiling height in this client's home did not leave enough room for a conventional drop ceiling. But the client wanted access to the area, so covering with drywall also not an option.

We created a custom solution with panels that easily slide in and out, tidying the area and allowing access when needed.
