Following opening night of Interior Design Show Vancouver 2026, Midland Appliance hosted an After Hours gathering at Guilt & Co., in partnership with Monogram, XMT Construction, and Blaze Grills.
 
The evening brought together designers, builders, and industry partners for live music, good company, and a chance to unwind after the IDS.

Today, we’re celebrating our friend and longtime Chef partner, Chef Bruno Marti.
 
A true leader in Canada’s culinary community, Chef Bruno has spent a lifetime not only mastering his craft, but sharing it—mentoring generations of chefs, championing Canadian culinary talent and helping shape the industry through his leadership, generosity and passion for the profession.
 
We’ve been incredibly fortunate to have Chef Bruno Marti as part of the Midland Appliance family over the years, sharing his knowledge, mentorship and unmistakable presence with our team, clients, and community partners.
 
In honour of his birthday, we’re looking back at a great moment from this year’s Brewery & the Beast in Vancouver, where Chef Bruno joined our friends at Two Rivers Meats for their annual tomahawk carving—an anticipated festival tradition that draws an impressive crowd each year.
 
Happy Birthday to Canada’s Culinary Godfather. Thank you for everything you continue to bring to the culinary community, and to all of us at Midland Appliance.

Our Summer Builder Appreciation BBQ brought builders, developers and design partners together at the Langley showroom for an afternoon focused on connection, collaboration and strengthening the relationships that are so important to our industry.

Guests enjoyed brisket, pork ribs, steaks and prawns, with the DCS grills in action, along with live music, refreshing drinks and a showcase of luxury vehicles from Winding Road.

A special thank you to Fisher & Paykel Appliances appliances and DCS Grills, XMT Construction Ltd., Winding Road Motorcars, Mister G's, Poyan Danesh and everyone who came out to spend the afternoon with us.
