September is a big month for us; two current builds, two designs, and many site visits. Our youngest is also turning four soon, her older brother has just gone back to school today, and i’m off to Tuscany tomorrow for my birthday, a much needed break after a full-on summer holidays of being with little ones.

Also, one of my favourite people in the world also happens to be over visiting Italy from Brisbane on my birthday week, the universe aligned! ✨

It’s also 16 days until Autumn Equinox 🍂
A change of season always brings a lot of reflection and setting intentions, and as a former teacher, the start of September is what I’ve always considered the real New Year.

In 2020 after being furloughed, Lawrence took the leap at setting up Sanders Landscapes- Garden Design & Build, joined by his wife Frances behind the scenes, who had just given birth to their first son.

Jamie was next to join the team and has now been with us for 4.5 years 🙌🏼. Followed by Thom, Ryan, Ali and Max. We also have the talented Alex Corcoran working alongside us on our current project in Bath.

It was a priority to find passionate and creative individuals who gell and support one another, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have this beautiful bunch of landscapers on our build team.

Clients love them, we love them, and we are excited for many more exciting projects to come!

Thank you to Dom Palmer for capturing this beautiful footage of this garden we built in 2024, in collaboration with Bath Garden Design.

Kat has written a beautiful post about the increase in biodiversity in this garden since she first took over the site, which can be viewed on her Bath Garden Design page.

It’s incredible to look back at build stage, and to see just how much this garden has transformed in the past couple of years. The most magical project to be part of, and one which will just keep giving as the years go on.
