🌳⚠️ Tree dismantle in Warminster — rotten at the base and right next to power lines
This one had to come down: the base of the tree had rotted away, making it a real risk of falling in the next big wind 🍂 And with power line cables running right alongside, felling it from the ground was never an option — so we climbed the tree and dismantled it piece by piece, lowering every section down under control.
Safety was the priority at every single stage — from the initial assessment, to roping in safely for the climb, to keeping every cut and every lowered section well clear of the power lines. Working at height next to live cables with a rotten base below leaves no room for guesswork; jobs like this are exactly why professional kit, training and a careful plan matter 🪢⚡💪
And a lovely finishing touch: we left an 8ft standing stump (a wildlife monolith) — as the wood slowly breaks down it becomes a home for beetles, bats and birds, so the old tree carries on giving back to the woodland for years to come 🦇🐦💚
