I'm not doing anymore shelves for the rest of the year!

It felt like it would never end, but I got there. Ceiling was badly cracked, I glued the cracks, fiber tape, filled then lining paper, giving it the best chance I could. It came out looking like new though.

Will probably take as long to load the shelves back up as give them 2 coats of paint, will take a bit of drying first though.

When it's just a feature wall you can have absolutely anything you want and not overpower the room!

New builds are about as exciting to show pictures of as actually doing them, white on white with white.

Nowadays most spray them and just blast everything but I prefer the roller and brush still, the slight texture helps to hide small imperfections, trowel marks etc, and give it a more established look. But this is just my opinion, others will say different.

Travelling all the way to Kirkham for these, I don't usually like travelling but seen as its a substantial job, travelling an hour either way to paper 1 wall just doesn't make sense for me or the customer!

It was a lot of cutting in with 3 coats and not painting the woodwork, but it's achieved what he wanted.

Just got to figure out where I could put it in my house now cause it grew on me!

Just noticed this picture in my reviews bit. An exterior job we took over when the owner was sick of painting dashing! We finished off painting the walls then painted all the tops, gutters, downspouts etc to finish it off nicely.

Colours are definitely back! Although it took 3 coats it really 'brightened' up the room from the previous grey.
