Introducing Corbin – Kitchen Manufacturer

Corbin’s been in the game a couple of years now and is quickly becoming a solid part of the team. He’s all about getting stuck in, learning on the go, and making sure every job that leaves the workshop is up to standard.

He might be early in his career, but he’s got the right attitude — and in this trade, that goes a long way.

Now… outside of work is where things get interesting.

When he’s not in the workshop, Corbin enjoys a bit of time at the casino — we’re still trying to figure out if he’s actually winning or just there for the vibes 🎲 — and the rest of his downtime is spent catching up with his long-distance girlfriend over in America.

So between cabinetry, cards, and international calls, Corbin’s got a pretty full schedule.

Introducing Sanjeet – Joiner & All-Round Legend

With over 20 years of experience in joinery, Sanjeet brings a huge amount of knowledge and craftsmanship to the workshop. He’s one of those guys who’s always looking to learn something new, pick up another skill, and keep improving his craft — which is exactly the kind of attitude you want when you’re building quality joinery.

But here’s the twist…

When he’s not in the workshop, Sanjeet swaps the tools for the driver’s seat and spends his spare time as an Uber driver. So whether it’s crafting cabinetry or navigating Hamilton traffic, he’s got it covered.

Honestly, between joinery and Uber, there’s not much this guy hasn’t seen — kitchens, cabinets, and probably a few interesting late-night conversations along the way.

One thing’s for sure… if you need something built or a ride home, Sanjeet’s your man 😄

Introducing Keith – Cabinet Maker & Precision Enthusiast

With over 20 years of cabinet making under his belt, Keith has pretty much seen (and built) it all. If it’s square, level, and built to last — chances are Keith’s had something to do with it.

He’s the kind of guy who measures twice… and then just for good measure, measures it again. Nothing leaves his bench unless it’s spot on.

But here’s where it gets interesting…
When Keith clocks off, he doesn’t exactly slow down. Instead, he heads home to his workshop where he builds model locomotives. And not the “stick it together in an afternoon” kind — we’re talking seriously detailed, precision-engineered machines.

So while most people are relaxing after work, Keith is out there building tiny trains with the same level of craftsmanship he brings to full-sized cabinetry.

Safe to say, if it involves precision, patience, and skill… Keith’s your guy.

Say hello to Elizabeth our new Kitchen Designer

With over 10 years of experience, Elizabeth knows her way around a kitchen design like a pro. With a background in fashion design, she brings a sharp eye for style, detail, and colour — but don’t let that fool you… she’s just as passionate about the technical side of things too.

Elizabeth loves getting into the nuts and bolts of a project — making sure everything not only looks incredible, but actually functions perfectly for everyday life. Her favourite part? Taking a concept from a flat 2D plan and turning it into a fully realised 3D space you can truly imagine yourself living in.

When she’s not designing beautiful kitchens, you’ll likely find her:
📚 Deep in a good book
🧩 Solving cryptic crosswords (for fun… somehow)
🧠 Or dominating a team quiz night (where we suspect she’s quietly carrying the team.)

If there’s a tricky design challenge or a puzzle to solve — Elizabeth’s your person.

Remember the special piece of timber we shared earlier… the one we asked you to guess about? 👀

Well — here’s your first look at the transformation.

That beautiful piece of NZ Kauri has now been milled and is starting to take shape in the workshop, becoming a set of custom cabinets. It’s always exciting seeing raw timber go through this stage — where you can really start to appreciate the grain, the tone, and the character coming to life.

Kauri is something pretty special to work with. Once it’s been processed and shaped, you can see exactly why it’s so highly valued — the warmth, the depth, and those stunning natural patterns starting to reveal themselves.

This is just the beginning… there’s still a bit to go before the finished product is ready, but it’s safe to say this one is going to be something pretty special.

Meet the Team… or should we say, meet the boss.

Introducing Frank – Head of Security 🐾

Frank takes his role very seriously. With a keen eye and an even keener nose, nothing gets past him in the workshop. Every delivery is thoroughly inspected, every visitor is carefully assessed… and every lunchbox is considered fair game.

His primary responsibilities include:
• Perimeter checks (especially around smoko time)
• Quality control on all food-related items
• Monitoring suspicious activity (like the rustle of a treat bag)

While his security skills are second to none, it’s safe to say his true speciality lies in treat detection — a talent he has refined to an elite level.

We’re not entirely sure how we managed before him, but one thing’s for certain…
If there are snacks nearby, Frank will find them.
