Now that the awards are wrapped up, we can finally share the stunning Urban Homes showhome, starting with the kitchen.
This was a test of craftsmanship. To achieve this level of high-end minimalism required absolute precision:
• Flawless grain matching: Running timber panelling from floor to ceiling means there is nowhere to hide. Every grain line had to match perfectly across the integrated fridge doors and the hidden scullery to create one unbroken wall of wood.
• The Hidden Scullery: Pivot doors that sit completely flush and blend seamlessly into the panelling when closed, but open effortlessly into a full butler’s pantry.
• Recessed Lighting: Integrating flush LED strip lighting directly into the timber panels
• Precision Angles: scribing the cabinetry seamlessly into that dramatic raked ceiling line required millimetre-perfect cutting and scribing.
It’s the hidden engineering and meticulous alignment that separates a standard kitchen from a fitout like this.
