Grower Direct is a family run business, with a small highly dedicated team of experts who specialize in propagation, growing systems and pest & disease management. Just ask, no secrets with us, our philosophy is simple, if you are successful with your garden, then we have succeeded. The nursery covers approximately 4 acres of open beds and covered growing areas

We grow over 400 different plants f

rom veg seedlings to a wide range of ornamental plants. Our website is a combination research tool as well as a ‘shop’ it is an annualized production range and we don’t manage the day to day availability of plants, once you place an order we will confirm via email what is available and final costs including freight. Our price structure is genuine wholesale prices, you can expect to pay half if not less than a typical retail garden centre. We don't run ‘specials’ we have an ‘Everyday low Price’ policy, so we can guarantee the best prices everyday.

Afternoon folks,

It might feel like winter where you are, but here at Grower Direct the propagation house is full and first thing next week we're going to be potting up the geraniums! I love watching these beautiful flowers grow and bloom. They'll be saleable at the end of June if the days stay mild.

In the meantime the clearance sale on last year's hibiscus is ending on Monday ($10ea), so come on in and grab a deal and add some colour to your garden.

Good afternoon everyone,

Well as we move into a lovely Autumn our hibiscus are still flowering beautifully, but we've got to start making space to grow our spring beauties. So for this next week (until the 8th of May) we're having a sale on last year's Hibiscus stock. There's a bunch of varieties and colours and they have heaps of buds on them ready to show off. Hey folks,

Tilly keeps jumping into visitors cars, sorry (damn dog). But on the plus side, the vege house is full of good-sized winter vege (still cheaper than everywhere else). Remember growing your own vege is not only better for your health, but fun for the kids, and as a bonus saves you money (which we all need more of at the moment).

We've also got the beautiful pineapple quince tree fruiting at the moment. I've collected some fruit for any of you out there wanting to make a few batches. It pairs beautifully with cheese and a wine (like all pastes). We've also got some trees available for sale if you want to plant a stunning ornamental tree with fragrant spring flowers and lovely fragrant autumn fruit.
