Some little things brightening the day outside, or in a vase.
Enjoying the big Peasgood Apples, first year i have harvested a crop. About 8 years ago I grafted a couple of branches onto my Braeburn. Great for the small grandchildren.
I took 6 cuttings off my green grape last winter and 3 are growing nicely, which is exciting. And our nectarine has been laiden. I grew it from a stone out of a client's garden. Small achievements that thrill.

Some more beautiful blooms from around the Paddock. I love these Cornus. Both grown from seedlings, this is the first year the pinky one has flowered, have watched with much anticipation as to what the colour would be, and not disappointed.
Enjoying some of the colour combinations in the garden.
The Paeonies are looking stunning and have had the pleasure of picking and giving away some bunches this year. And remembering my Roxburgh Nana when she dug out a piece of hers and gave them to me.

Some flowers bringing me pleasure in the last week.

Spring - always has a variation of weather.
We were lucky to escape the damaging winds, but did get a nice wee coating of snow which broke and bent things. I was away for that night. The Rhodos are making a pretty show, and so far we have avoided a hard frost. Last of the spring bulbs and time for seed sowing. Super pleased with my compost which I have dressed the greenhouse and vege beds with.

There is a Beautiful palate of colour throughout the garden, and lots of things coming, super exciting.
Typical spring weather, awoke to blue sky wind and a fresh over-night dusting on the hills.
