The goal for this primary bathroom was to create something that felt classic and sophisticated without feeling cold or overly trendy. We kept the incredible architecture and that gorgeous arched window as the star, then built the entire design around it.

Deep navy vanities ground the room, while warm neutral floor tile, marble-look shower walls, polished nickel fixtures and soft lighting keep everything light and refined. We added custom recessed shelving for storage and styling, an oversized shower with a statement niche, updated mirrors and sconces, and artwork that brings just the right amount of softness and color.

And one of those upgrades you can’t see in the photos but you DEFINITELY feel: heated floors. 🙌 Because a beautiful bathroom is great, but warm tile under your feet on a cold morning is even better.

I love seeing a design concept go from an idea on a mood board to a finished space that feels like it was always meant to belong in the home.

I walked around for 10 minutes looking for my Contractor before I found him

No, we’re not playing hide-and-seek. 😂

But if we were… I’m giving him a solid 10/10 because I almost didn’t find him.

The things these guys have to do behind the scenes to make my designs come to life. Crawling into walls, squeezing into spaces no grown man should reasonably fit into, covered in drywall dust… meanwhile I’m over here like, “Can we move that outlet over just a little?” 😂

Gotta give it to my contractors. The finished photos may be pretty, but THIS is what remodeling actually looks like. 👏🏼

And yes… I absolutely took the picture before asking if he needed help. 🤣

A basement that feels masculine and moody without feeling dark or heavy.

For this design, we incorporated warm woods, soft metals, deep blues and rich rust hues to create a space that feels elevated, comfortable and collected.

The main living area is designed for lounging, with caramel leather seating, warm wood floors and a dramatic built-in media wall. The bar cabinetry is painted Sherwin-Williams Cyberspace, creating the perfect deep blue-charcoal backdrop. Warm wood accents, leather seating and a backsplash that mixes natural stone with soft metallic elements add texture and dimension while keeping everything cohesive.

The tucked-away conversation nook brings in another layer of personality with moody wallpaper, leather banquette seating, vintage-inspired artwork and warm ambient lighting almost like its own little speakeasy within the basement.

Even the bathroom carries the palette through with deep blue shower tile, a warm walnut vanity, bronze finishes and a patterned floor that pulls together the blues, rusts and warm neutral tones.

Masculine. Warm. Sophisticated. And designed to actually be lived in. 🥃

Powder rooms are one of my favorite places to have a little fun with design because you can get away with being a little moodier and a little bolder.

We kept the original hardwood floors AND that gorgeous vintage gold mirror (because sometimes some of the best pieces are ones you already own), then completely changed everything around them. Moody wallpaper and board & batten, a new vanity and warm brass finishes took this little room from basic to one of my favorite spaces in the house.

I’ve been dying to share this Jack & Jill bathroom transformation. 💙

This bathroom was about as builder-grade as it gets when we started, and seeing it all come together is SO satisfying.

The blue tile was definitely the jumping-off point for the design, and pairing it with the warm wood vanities and brushed gold finishes completely changed the feel of the space. We added a little pattern in the shower niche, kept everything else light and warm, and somehow this little bathroom now has a whole lot of personality. Now this bathroom has an elevated sophistication that the kids can grow with for years to come.

I know, I know… it’s August and I’m already talking about Christmas 😂 But every year I have people reach out once the holidays are in full swing and by then our schedule is usually pretty packed.

We’re officially starting to book our fall and Christmas decorating services, and returning clients tend to grab their dates pretty quickly. Apparently this is what a well-balanced meal looks like when you’re an interior designer running from remodel to remodel all day. 😂

🥕 Carrot cake — vegetables
🥩 Beef jerky — protein
🥔 Baked BBQ chips — carbs
☕️ And somewhere in this equation, an irresponsible amount of caffeine.

Designer fuel. Because there’s no time for lunch when there are site visits to make, contractors to coordinate, remodels to check on, and approximately 47,000 decisions to make before I pick up the kids at 2:30. 😂

Being a business owner is a constant battle between “I’ve got this” and “what the hell am I doing?” 😂

There are days I feel confident, creative and completely sure of where I’m headed… and then there are days I question every decision I make, wonder if I’m doing enough, and feel like I’m dropping a ball somewhere between running a business, being a wife, being a mom, and just being a person.

I’m learning that doubt doesn’t necessarily mean you’re on the wrong path. Sometimes it just means you’re doing something that matters enough to scare you a little.

Some of the things I once thought were impossible are now just… my normal life. Things I prayed for, worked for, stressed over and almost talked myself out of.

So on the days when I’m overwhelmed and questioning whether I can actually juggle all of this, I’m trying to remember:

Maybe “impossible” is really just “I’m possible.” 🙏

My kids just started school, and I made each of them a little “Get to Know Me” flyer for their teachers. It got me thinking… I’ve had so many new faces join this little corner of the internet lately that maybe I should do one too.

So if you’re new here (or you’ve been around for a while but don’t know much about me), hi! I’m Lindsey. 👋

I’m not just an interior designer—I’m a proud fire wife and mom to three beautiful and very different boys who keep me on my toes.

When I’m not designing homes, you’ll usually find me at the lake, cheering on my oldest at a baseball game, or just laughing with my family because we tend to be a little goofy. I love music, singing (whether anyone wants to hear it or not 😆), fantasy movies, and if it’s fall or Halloween season… I’m in my happy place.

I have a degree in marketing, and before becoming an interior designer I worked in several different industries. Those experiences gave me a well-rounded perspective that I bring into every project. I don’t just focus on making a home beautiful—I focus on making it practical for the people who actually live there. I’m budget-friendly, function-first, and I believe great design should make everyday life easier.

One thing you’ll never hear from me is judgment. When I walk into your home, it’s a judgment-free zone. Please don’t apologize for the toys on the floor, the messy kitchen, or the laundry piled on the couch. I promise… I get it 100%. Homes are meant to be lived in, and life gets messy sometimes.

One of my favorite parts of this job is the relationships I build along the way. I’m often in my clients’ homes for months—sometimes even years—as we work through projects together. By the end, many of my clients have become genuine friends, and that’s something I never take for granted.

Your home is where your family celebrates birthdays, gathers around the dinner table, watches movies, makes messes, and creates memories you’ll carry forever. Being trusted to help create those spaces is truly an honor, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly.
