We had a great few days at the MSMA Fall Conference in Augusta!

WBRC was there as an exhibitor, but we also had the opportunity to talk about something we're especially passionate about: connecting Maine students with careers in architecture, construction, engineering, and the skilled trades.

Tyler Johnson and Siobhan Benson joined Stacey Woidt from Scarborough High School to present “Experience ACE: Career-connected Learning Through Industry Partnerships,” sharing how ACE Maine brings students and industry professionals together through mentoring, hands-on activities, office and site visits, and real-world projects.

It was great talking with school board members, superintendents, and education leaders about how they can connect their students with ACE, and sharing how WBRC and other industry partners help make these experiences possible.

Thanks to everyone who attended the session or stopped by our booth to say hello!

From plans on paper to a footprint on site.

Sanford’s new Fire & EMS Headquarters is beginning to take shape, and it’s great to see the design becoming a little more visible with each construction update.

Can you see the building outline of the new Sanford Fire & EMS Headquarters taking shape?

In this latest aerial view, you can really start to picture what the future building will look like! Progress continues on-site as crews work on pouring the building's footings.

Stay tuned for more updates as construction progresses!

Seven years in the making!

What began as a facilities study has grown into a stunning multi-phased mass timber addition and renovation. Along the way, more than 50 members of our team contributed their expertise, making this project a true company-wide effort.

A heartfelt thank you to L.L.Bean, Zachau Construction Inc., and Sebago Technics for being incredible partners throughout the journey. Projects like this are only possible through strong collaboration and a shared vision.

We're excited to see the community enjoy this beautiful store for years to come!
