The Woods Academy partnered with GTM | Architects to reimagine their South Wing—25,000 sq. ft. of renewed learning space. From refreshed classrooms and a modern Innovation Lab to upgraded libraries, offices, and a new roof, the renovation brings new energy to this Pre-K Montessori through 8th grade community.

Our team led full-service design, including programming and system upgrades to help create a dynamic, light-filled environment where students and teachers can thrive.

GTM Architects has been recognized for the second consecutive year with a Design 9 Award from Modern Luxury Interiors | Mid-Atlantic!

GTM|Homes received the evening’s top honor, Home of the Year, for our collaboration with Artisan Builders and Georgia & Hunt—celebrated at the Design 9 Awards event this week.

The annual awards highlight standout projects shaping the Mid-Atlantic design community, and we’re grateful to be featured among such talented peers for the second year in a row!

The winning project appears in Modern Luxury Interiors Mid-Atlantic’s Design 9 Issue, Volume 4—now available in print and online. A huge thank-you to our partners and team for their collaboration, and congratulations to all this year’s honorees!

Bethesda Magazine’s “Drama for Dinner” feature arrives just in time for the holiday season. Turns out, a moody, Manhattan-inspired dining room is the perfect setting for the holiday spread — especially when the design is giving all the right kinds of drama!
Bringing Manhattan's moody sophistication to the DMV, GTM Principal, Mark Kaufman in collaboration with Dana Schwartz Design transformed a dining area into a one-of-a-kind experience.

• Award of Merit, Best Multifamily Project for The Oliver, a vibrant mixed-use landmark at the northern gateway to Howard University, thoughtfully designed to support student life while honoring the university’s rich heritage.
• Award of Excellence, Best Renovation for 899 North Capitol Street, the transformation of a 1970s office building into a modern, high-performing commercial property enhanced by a new two-story addition in the heart of D.C.
