A little glimpse into our day at High Point Market! 🤎 Sourcing for client projects, discovering new favorites, and soaking up all the inspiration. Rich colors, equestrian motifs, velvet everywhere, unexpected pattern play, cowhides, tapestry-inspired textiles, and stunning natural stone inlays. So many beautiful details and exciting finds we can’t wait to incorporate into upcoming projects!

A designer retreat in the Highlands! 🌲🏔️🥂🤎

I was so honored to be invited to Woven: A Sunbrella Experience, an intimate designer retreat created to take us deeper into the world of Sunbrella.

Four days of design, craftsmanship, and inspiration!!

From seeing the manufacturing process firsthand to exploring new collections, connecting with fellow designers, and experiencing the incredible artistry and culture of Highlands. Every moment was thoughtfully curated.✨

Leaving inspired, grateful, and with an even deeper appreciation for the details behind the textiles we specify.

Hot Take: A design is only as good as its construction documents.

As interior designers, we don’t just come up with beautiful spaces we design the roadmap that brings them to life.

Construction documents communicate every detail of the design, from cabinetry dimensions and material specifications to lighting layouts and finish selections. They ensure the vision is understood, coordinated, and executed as intended.

Thoughtful design requires thoughtful documentation. Because the details on paper are what ultimately shape the finished space.

✨ Form meets function long before construction begins.

Three years of Form & Function!!! 🥂

I honestly can’t believe I get to say that.

This started as just an idea I couldn’t shake, something I cared about, something I wanted to build, even when I had no clue how it would all come together. A lot of late nights, a lot of trial and error, and just choosing to keep going.

Somehow, it turned into this. A business. Real clients. Real homes. Real trust.

There have been highs that felt surreal and moments that pushed me more than I expected; but through all of it, I’ve never felt more sure that this is what I’m supposed to be doing.

Form & Function is so much more than design to me. It’s the relationships, the people who have let me into their spaces, and getting to create something that actually matters to them.

If you’ve supported me in any way, hired me, referred me, followed along, thank you. Truly!!! It means everything.

We still have such a long way to go, and honestly, that’s the best part🤍
