Let’s make something lovely shall we? Because when there’s SO much snow outside we need all the blooming lovely we can find. These “faux but also real” blooming branches are made using the blooms from a faux white cherry stem hot glued onto real branches from my yard. It takes some time and several hot glue sticks but I couldn’t love it anymore. And the finished product makes me love my new blue kitchen ceiling even more!
THE DETAILS
I bought 4 stems of white cherry blossoms from
I snipped the individual blooms off 2 stems. I then pulled the clusters of 3 off of the last 2.
Hot glue the blossoms to real branches and for a more natural look, mimic the way the blossoms open, with closed buds at the tip and more open flowers beneath. Just keep gluing!
Arrange in a pretty vase for some kitchen counter wow factor. (This pretty green vase is one of my oldest house purchases. We carried it in our backpack home from Thailand when we backpacked around the world for our honeymoon. I was 23 and we didn’t have a house just the hope of one. Collect the treasures no matter what season of life you are in.)
