Kitchen renovation? Dinner is still on. 🔥🥘🚐

Apparently, we have a thing for businesses on wheels. 🚐♨️

We spent the weekend in the Adirondacks and couldn’t resist checking out another Upstate NY mobile trailer business — this time, a sauna!

As fellow small business owners who know a thing or two about bringing an idea to life on wheels, we love seeing other entrepreneurs doing their thing.

Shoutout to On The Equator Mobile Sauna for bringing the heat to our weekend! 🔥🍂

Different trailers, same entrepreneurial spirit. Here’s to supporting small and shopping local!

Just a little Hitched Kitchen in the wild. 🖤

Good friends, matching shirts, the trailer out and about, and another day of this crazy little business we’re building.

Still pretty cool to think we built the only mobile kitchen of its kind in New York State.

We’re having a pretty good time with this thing. 🤍

Buffalo, let’s do this thing. 🦬

Temporary kitchen. Nothing temporary about the amenities. THE HITCHED KITCHEN. Your Kitchen’s Closed—Ours Isn’t.

A renovation doesn’t have to mean putting your life on pause.

Not the big things — the quiet ones. Date night. Dinner together with no noise, no dust, no eating standing up over the sink. A working kitchen means those stay intact, even when the rest of the house doesn’t.

Full range and oven. Real fridge and freezer. Actual counter space, wherever it needs to sit for now.

Tag someone who could use the reminder that a renovation doesn’t have to put everything on hold.

We asked our 2-year-old to explain the family business.

Her answer: “It’s… it’s… the color is black.”

Technically correct. Bold strategy. We’re allowing it.

(For anyone over the age of 3 who’s still confused: The Hitched Kitchen is a mobile kitchen trailer — full range, oven, fridge, the works — delivered to driveways across Western New York for renovations, events, and emergencies. She left out those details.)

Tag someone whose toddler would give an equally professional answer. 😂

Sunday morning pancakes. Made in the driveway.

No hot plate. No microwave. Just a real stove, a real kitchen, and two kids who did not care even slightly that it wasn’t the one attached to the house.

This is the part people don’t expect — that a mobile kitchen isn’t a compromise you tolerate for a few weeks. It’s just… a kitchen. Sunday mornings included.

Tag someone who’d survive a renovation a lot better with one of these in the driveway. 🥞

A graduation sign in the front yard. A second kitchen in the driveway.

That’s a combination we hope to see a lot more of.

Today, we delivered The Hitched Kitchen for a graduation celebration, giving these hosts a fully functioning second kitchen just steps from the party.

When your home becomes the place where everyone gathers, one kitchen isn’t always enough.

From prep and cooking to cleanup and everything in between, having a dedicated space means everything has a place—and the hosts have the freedom to spend more time with the people they’re celebrating.

Just steps from the celebration, the hosts had an entire second kitchen ready whenever they needed it.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 graduate, and thank you for letting us be a small part of such a special day. 🎓

Some mornings start in a kitchen we built, not the one attached to our house. ☕

This is what it actually looks like to live with The Hitched Kitchen day to day — not just during a renovation, but every morning in between. Full-size appliances, real counter space, coffee routine fully intact.

Whether it’s your renovation, your event, or an emergency you didn’t plan for — this is what shows up in your driveway.

Save this for the next time someone tells you a trailer can’t feel like home.
