Love how the stairs are coming out on our new house project in Cambridge.

Our high performance design will generate more annual electricity than it uses, while also exceeding new climate and flood resilience standards set forth by the City of Cambridge.

Honored to be featured in Parade Home and Garden.

TIP: Look to Your Neighbors

Most people don’t want their home to appear totally out of place within the neighborhood. As such, why not look toward the houses around you when selecting your front door color? David M Fenchel, the owner of Traverse Architects, shares that his team “drew inspiration from the neighboring yellow colonial home” when choosing a front door paint color for their client’s house.

The Traverse Architects team ultimately landed on Fine Paints of Europe Van Gogh Yellow to complement the yellow house nearby. They wanted something with a high-gloss finish and ended up “reinterpreting the subdued historical color as a bold, modern pop that allows the door here to stand out while remaining cohesive within the neighborhood,” Fenchel explains.
