CSNA RECEIVES AMERICAN ARCHITECTURE AWARD

The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and The Chicago Athenaeum/Europe has awarded an Honorable Mention to CSNA's Dietrich Reinhart Learning Commons, an addition to Marcel Breuer's Alcuin Library at the Abbey and University of Saint John's in Collegeville, Minnesota.

A little to start your day. This stained glass window wall at The Abbey Church of Saint John's Abbey is one of our favorites. CSNA is proud to have completed a conservation plan for this historic building.

"Like a good patina, some things just get better with time." For the Science Building at Saint John's University, we wrapped the lobby atrium with a wonderful copper dome. Copper is durable, corrosion resistant, and able to conform to many complex shapes. We always look for ways to enhance our designs with unique materials.

Happy from everyone at CSNA. all three buildings in this image are made from Colorado marble?! The Lincoln Memorial is nearly entirely made of Yule Creek Marble from Marble, CO. The Washington Monument also has a significant portion of Yule Creek marble. The columns on the ground floor of the Capitol Building are brecciated marble from Colorado. Happy Independence Day!! 🏛️🎆🇺🇸
