Hoo-dreaux is traveling this summer! Celebrating "The Great Outdoors" this June, he flew by the Samuel J Cadden Chapel at Clemson University.

Exploring the outdoors isn't always about adventure - sometimes it's about finding a place to pause. The chapel was designed as a quiet retreat along the campus green spine, where students can step away from the demands of daily life and reconnect with nature. The chapel reminds us that some of the most meaningful experiences happen when we slow down and engage with the world around us.

We love student engagement sessions!

Every student housing project we design begins with listening. This week, our team met with students at Winthrop University to hear firsthand what helps them feel comfortable, connected, and at home on campus. Those conversations are invaluable as we work to create spaces that support both student success and community.

The feedback gathered will help inform the first phase of a new 400-bed residence hall, a project that represents a major investment in Winthrop University's future. By engaging students early in the process, we're helping shape a residence hall that feels less like a building and more like a home away from home.

Hoo-dreaux is traveling this summer! Celebrating "The Great Outdoors" this June, he stopped by three of his favorite Richland Library locations: North Main, Northeast, and Southeast. Each library extends learning beyond its walls with outdoor spaces for gathering, storytelling, creativity, and play. Designed for the community, these spaces help connect people with ideas, nature, and one another.

Please welcome our summer architecture intern, Sydney Artlip!

Sydney recently completed her sophomore year at Clemson University and was drawn to BOUDREAUX by the firm’s emphasis on community and historic preservation. Last summer, she studied abroad in Paris and Berlin - an experience that further strengthened her appreciation for architecture and the stories places can tell.

This summer, Sydney is excited to learn more about the history of the firm and how BOUDREAUX has helped shape spaces she has interacted with throughout her life. Outside of the studio, she enjoys hiking, running, and playing soccer. We’re excited to have her on the team this summer and look forward to the perspective and energy she’ll bring to the studio!
