Bold design. Inviting spaces. Lasting impressions. ✨

At Angela Morton Interior Design, we believe shared spaces should feel anything but ordinary.

Rich plum velvet, sleek black leather, warm wood tones, and sculptural brass lighting create a sophisticated balance of texture, color, and character. Thoughtfully arranged seating encourages conversation, while playful amenities bring an unexpected sense of energy to the space.

It’s all about creating environments that feel elevated yet approachable, where beautiful design and everyday living come together effortlessly.

Thoughtfully designed. Beautifully lived.

Not every work of art needs a frame. Sometimes, the wall itself is the masterpiece.

At Kingston in Upper Arlington, an oversized black-and-white abstract composition commands attention, bringing movement and personality to this dramatic two-story lounge.

Soaring arched windows, sculptural ring lighting, and exposed architectural elements celebrate the scale of the space, while rich blue upholstery, warm wood tones, and beautifully tailored furnishings bring everything back to a more intimate, inviting level.

It’s a study in contrasts. Bold yet approachable. Industrial yet comfortable. Every detail considered, without a single element competing for attention.

A little texture. A little romance. A lot of thoughtful detail.

A sculptural white headboard brings subtle architectural interest to this serene bedroom, while layers of plush velvet, soft blush, and smoky lavender create an inviting mix of color and texture.

Gold-framed mirrors add just the right touch of warmth, and crisp white furnishings keep the entire space feeling light and effortlessly refined.

Proof that a room doesn’t have to be bold to make a beautiful impression.

A little drama, beautifully balanced.

At Ten31 in Cincinnati, a rich navy backdrop comes alive with intricate gold geometry, while warm brass sconces bring depth and dimension to the space. Crisp white cabinetry, subtle stone veining, and tailored gray upholstery provide a quiet counterpoint to the bold architectural details.

The result? A resident lounge that feels sophisticated without being formal, comfortable without being ordinary.

Because the spaces we pass through every day deserve just as much attention as the ones we linger in.

A study in contrast, balance, and the beauty of restraint.

A dramatic black fluted credenza and oversized monochromatic artwork bring a confident edge to this otherwise soft, inviting living space. Sculptural furnishings, layered neutral textures, and subtle brass accents create visual interest without competing for attention.

And that unexpected touch of dusty rose? Just enough warmth to give the room a little personality.

It’s a space where strong architectural lines meet softer moments—sophisticated, understated, and designed to feel as comfortable as it looks.

Every room deserves a good cover story.

At The Fitzgerald, an exuberant collage of vintage Vogue covers brings decades of fashion, illustration, and personality into one beautifully unconventional bedroom.

And while the walls are anything but shy, the furnishings know the value of restraint. A vertically channeled velvet headboard, quilted textures, powder-blue layers, and subtle brass accents create a softer counterpoint to all that editorial energy.

It’s a little unexpected, wonderfully nostalgic, and proof that a room can have quite a lot to say without ever feeling loud.

After all, who needs framed artwork when the wall itself is this well-dressed?

The art of a beautifully finished room? Knowing exactly when to stop decorating and start living.

A sculptural botanical resting on a stack of books. A fiddle-leaf fig lending a little wildness to the clean lines of a white dresser. Subtle brass accents, cut crystal, and a copper cocktail shaker making a rather convincing case for staying in.

These are the details we love most. Thoughtfully collected, deliberately composed, but never so precious that they can’t be enjoyed.

Because a truly beautiful interior shouldn’t just be admired. It should make the everyday feel like something worth celebrating.

The architecture may be quiet. The interior doesn’t have to be.

A saturated blue swivel chair gives the room its punctuation. Blackened finishes add weight. Brass catches the light in just a few deliberate places. And an elongated upholstered bench beneath the window stretches the living space beyond the expected sofa-and-chair arrangement.

Even the sightlines are doing work here — from the sculptural forms on the credenza, through the living room, into the dining nook and kitchen beyond. Nothing competes for attention, but nothing feels accidental either.

That balance is often where good multifamily design lives: knowing exactly where to make a statement — and where to let the room breathe.

A room this restrained has nowhere to hide.

Every line has to earn its place.

Here, a graphic wallcovering stretches across the architecture like a continuous sketch—bold enough to define the room, quiet enough to let everything else breathe. Matte-black millwork nearly disappears against the baseboard, while warm wood underfoot keeps the black, white and gray palette from ever feeling cold.

Then come the interruptions: a monumental floor mirror casually leaned against the wall, sculptural bronze reliefs hung in a disciplined grid, the softness of an olive tree, woven chair backs, an oversized plaster vessel, and that beautifully angular chandelier overhead.

Nothing is fighting for attention. But nothing is accidental, either.

That tension—between graphic and organic, polished and tactile, architectural and slightly unexpected—is where a neutral room becomes memorable.

Three flights of stairs should earn you something.

In this condo, the reward is waiting at the landing: a jewel-box bar tucked neatly into an architectural niche, proving that the smallest moments in a home can carry some of the biggest personality.

The palette is intentionally restrained—inky black cabinetry, crisp white stone, warm brass and a graphic dimensional marble mosaic—but the composition has just enough mischief. Glass-front uppers keep the cabinetry visually light, the unlacquered-look brass punctuates the black like jewelry, and that backsplash refuses to simply behave in the background. Even the w**e refrigerator feels integrated rather than added on.

And just beyond it, the black steel railing and cascading glass globe pendants continue the same conversation: strong geometry softened by a little sparkle.

Because after three flights of stairs, “welcome home” should probably come with a corkscrew.
