CaCo Architecture, LLC

CaCo Architecture, LLC Full Service Architecture and Interior Design Firm. Licensed in 44 States.

CaCo Architecture is dedicated to creating architecture that is meaningful, functional, efficient, and responsive to context, culture and circumstance – much like music, our architecture is about structure, rhythm, harmony, proportion, pattern, order, hierarchy, and dynamics – architecture capable of touching the soul. Our design philosophy is grounded in achieving creative design solutions which

have the ability to inspire and enhance the lives of those who use our buildings, and are respectful of our Clients’ goals and aspirations. To this end, our design process is one of collaboration – collaboration between client, architect, consulting team, end users, stake-holders and the community at large. We believe collaboration of ideas and spirit ignite the imagination and creativity in all of us involved in the design process, benefiting and infusing the projects we develop with richness in dialogue and perspective. We create architecture solutions which push the boundaries of design in timeless and meaningful ways to create environments that are flexible, adaptable and enduring. Basic expressions of our timeless and enduring architecture are our use of honest materials in creative and innovative ways, and problem solving as art – an architectural composition in which all elements are delicately balanced.

As we head into a season of gratitude, our thoughts turn to a project that holds great significance for our firm: The Bridge Homeless Recovery Center in downtown Dallas.

The Bridge is a vital civic space of refuge, respite, and hope. It provides hot showers, nutritious meals, haircuts, health services, and care management for nearly 500 Guests each day, and night shelter for 300.

From the start, our shared goal was to show that modern-day shelters belong at the heart of our cities; integrated, visible, and valued civic buildings that reflect our community’s compassion.

This Thanksgiving, we are grateful for the reminder that good design can open doors, both literally and figuratively, and humbled to have designed a space that offers hope, one person at a time.

No tricks this year, just treats and ghost stories. 👻📚
Fairhill Elementary’s library was designed to be as engaging and bright as its students. A playful color palette, abundant daylight, and movable seating create the perfect setting to dive into the magic and imagination of a good book!

We are honored to be recognized by Learning By Design Magazine's Fall 2025 Awards of Excellence with an Outstanding Project Award for Everette L. DeGolyer Elementary School.
We are grateful for our dedicated team and for DeGolyer Elementary’s partnership in making this vision a reality!

“Rooted in the school's rich history and diverse community, this project creates an inclusive, welcoming environment. Aquatic themes and the dolphin mascot are thoughtfully integrated into lighting, acoustics, and features like the Learning Stair, reinforcing community identity. The design balances mid-century character with modern adaptability, clearly separating public and academic spaces for safety and flexibility. Prioritizing wellness and sustainability, the school features abundant daylight, strong acoustics, and high-efficiency systems for a healthy learning environment.”

Prompted by World Architecture Day’s theme—“Design for Strength”— we’re reflecting on 40 years of practice: resilient systems, adaptable spaces, and long-term partnerships. Strength is structural and social. Our goal is to deliver both for the communities we serve.

Field trip to the Viking Culinary Showroom! We toured their professional-quality appliances and then put them to work in the test kitchen.
On the menu: Ginger Soy Glazed Salmon—verdict from Myriam and Lane? Delicious. Big thanks to the Viking team for the warm welcome and hands-on demo. 🍽️✨

We had a wonderful time at the Viking Range showroom and test kitchen. The staff was welcoming, the meal was delicious, and the opportunity to experience Viking’s high-quality appliances firsthand was such a treat.

This photo of our founder, Myriam, captures the spirit of the day—great design, great food, and plenty of joy along the way. ✨

The countdown to fall is on, and we’re thrilled to see students already making their mark at DeGolyer Elementary! Watching them sign this beam is a reminder that this space was designed for them to learn, grow, and thrive. The students and teachers will make it a home, but we’re proud to have laid the foundation.

From the Compaq lunchbox computer to the Blackberry, we’ve always been plugged in (sometimes literally) 💻📟📱

Since 1985, CaCo has embraced change, welcomed innovation, and stayed curious about what’s next. These early tools may seem retro now, but they were once cutting-edge! They helped lay the foundation for the collaborative, tech-forward practice we are today.

Here’s to 40 years of evolving with intention.

CaCo is officially 40! 🎉

Founded in 1985, we’ve spent four decades designing with purpose, and we couldn’t have done it without the trust of our incredible clients and the long-lasting teamwork of our dedicated staff.

Thank you for being part of our story.
