The O’Brien team just returned from the 2026 ICSC Las Vegas conference, joining more than 25,000 industry leaders shaping the future of retail and mixed-use development, and we’re still buzzing from the energy, conversations, and connections made along the way.

From wellness and entertainment-driven destinations to future-ready retail environments, this year’s event highlighted how the human experience continues to shape development. It was great connecting with clients, partners, and future collaborators as we explored what’s next for retail and mixed-use design.

Sloan Corners has been named Best Mixed-Use at the Dallas Business Journal’s Best Real Estate Deals in the Metroplex, and we’re proud to be part of it!

At the intersection of U.S. Highway 75 and State Highway 121 in Allen and Fairview, Texas, Sloan Corners is taking shape as a nearly 500-acre mixed-use development integrating office, residential, retail, and hospitality.

We led the master planning and design of the retail and multifamily components, including the now-built 479-unit Hartwood Square.

With over 20,000 SF of retail under construction and approximately 55,000 SF more in design, the project continues to take shape.
