Everything I ate on Day 3 on Holland America Line

The DIVE IN !!
It’s another free dining option alongside Lido, and the dining room. My partner wouldn’t stop raving about the burgers & fries from the dive in so we placed a mobile order and picked it up.

I ended up just eating some sliced fruit since I’m not a big blue cheese fan. And while I wasn’t as intrigued by the food for lunch, I did appreciate how ANY employee you run into has a genuine smile and really focuses on making the best of your experience and constantly going above and beyond.

I wish I was a millionaire because I’d tip millions of cash for every employee on deck. They truly are the best part of the cruise.

Everything I ate on my Holland America Line 7 day Mediterranean cruise : Day 3 breakfast edition

Our cruise fare includes food from the Lido deck and a few other restaurants. We tried ordering room service yesterday but with constant time changes and being hungry from so much traveling we thought it’d be better to just get it ourselves.

Today the breakfast was actually quite good! I was more impressed with the breakfast than the room service breakfast.

Starting with an Alani Nu sunrise strawberry 🍓

This week I’m moving out of my RDF booth at Heirlooms Antique Mall and moving all my sales to online.

I’m also going on my first vacation in years, since being self employed.

I’ll be honest; it feels scary and undeserved to go on a vacation while being self employed, and job hunting. Years of hard work for my own business has wired me into a perpetual “yes” to opportunities because what if I miss out on the “right one” ?

While I’m not quitting content creation entirely, I am ready to start a 9-5 again, create space in my personal life where enjoying the present moment isn’t riddled by guilt if I’m “doing enough” to move towards my goals in life.

I genuinely think this should be everybody’s go to when it comes to comfort food you seek on a rainy/overcast day.

If you come here PLEASEEEE order the stir fried green beans & stir fried udon noodles. It will change your life. It’s the type of food that will have you throw your head back from all the deliciousness.

-anti fatigue mats

-pet ramps (idc how big or tiny your dog is-this does DRASTICALLY support their joints)

-nails cut

-getting loulou sooner 🥲

-going to more parks and dog free (like no dogs there. I don’t mean no dogs allowed)

We’ve been at Nick's Garden Center every week during our backyard renovation so now that it’s done I thought why not go back just for fun?

🍔Sausage sandwiches,corn & peppers EVERY weekend ⏰

And yes they even have a roasted corn topping station with mayonesa and Tajin USA & even other seasonings like chipotle Parmesan garlic 🥲

We bought lunch and met up with Lindsay | Vintage Decor & Style Curator & family to show them the amazing that Nick’s Garden Center is 😅

Our friends ate some tamales, we had some insanely delicious (NOT greasy whatsoever) sausage sandwiches and corn that may have me back every weekend.

they’re having a huge sale on all perennials, bushes, trees and even their pottery and glazed ceramics! The prices literally had me gasping bc wdym $12 for a pot 😭

I’m so obsessed with this place; no they’re not paying me; but name me a place where you can get lunch, stay within budget on DIY garden supplies, get ice cream and also pick up decor-while being family and locally owned. (And just about everything locally owned.)

Let me say!!! As a girl who LOVES interior cozy design AND second hand furniture this place was my DREAM 😛

It’s been so long since I’ve been able to hold a martini glass !!

This place have me such homey vibes, I can bring my mom, my best friend or my date here. It was so inviting I felt like I had to take off my shoes [I didn’t!]

Even more honored to have met ☆ in person! Such a cool place to meet cool people

When talking to the owners I wasn’t surprised to hear how much intention they put into the space by decorating with second hand furniture and refurbishing what they had to make it all come together.

They just expanded their space and offer snacks and are open in the mornings for coffee and red bull mixes so I hope you stop by!
