Competition Hydro / Competition Builds is hiring. 🪜 🏠🚿 🔫 🔨
We’re looking for a dependable, motivated person to join our team in a part-time to full-time position.
We operate out of Duvall and work throughout King and Snohomish County. We’d especially like to find someone who lives in Duvall or nearby and is looking for a long-term opportunity close to home.
This is a hands-on position that will primarily involve exterior cleaning, with opportunities to also work on deck and fence projects through Competition Builds.
Pay: $25–$35/hour depending on experience and ability.
What you’ll be doing:
* Roof, siding, gutter, window, concrete, and other exterior cleaning
* Setting up, operating, and breaking down professional cleaning equipment
* Working from ladders and occasionally at heights
* Driving company trucks and equipment between jobs
* Communicating professionally with customers
* Keeping trucks, tools, and equipment clean and organized
* Eventually running jobs independently once trained
* Assisting with deck and fence construction depending on experience and workload
What we’re looking for:
* Dependable and on time
* Strong work ethic
* Takes pride in doing quality work
* Uses common sense and takes initiative
* Looks for ways to keep a job moving instead of reasons why it can’t be done
* Willing to learn our equipment, processes, and standards
* Comfortable working outside in Washington weather
* Able to perform physically demanding work
* Valid driver’s license
* Good driving record and a safe, responsible driver
* Professional and respectful around customers and their property
* Ideally lives in Duvall or the surrounding area
Carpentry or construction experience is a big plus.
We also build decks and fences through Competition Builds, so experience with framing, decking, fencing, or general carpentry can create opportunities to work across both sides of the business.
