Say hello to Bracteantha 'Mohave Red' aka Mojave Red Strawflower. Strawflowers are great for dried arrangements. To dry them well, pick the stems when the blooms are only about half-open. Remove most of the foliage from the stems. This prevents rotting and speeds up the drying process. Gather 8 to 10 stems into a small bundle, secure them with a rubber band, and hang them upside down in a dark, dry, well-ventilated space for about 1 to 2 weeks.

Epiphyllum 'Palos Verdes White' is an epiphytic cactus growing 1'-2' tall x 3'-4' wide. Needs bright shade, well-draining rich soil, blooms creamy white 6" long flowers that age to pale yellow in spring to summer.
