Now at In Bloom at Calgo Gardens: Tropical Hibiscus Trees! ✨🌺

Bring instant vacation vibes to your porch, patio, or sunny corner with our gorgeous tropical hibiscus trees—bursting with bold, oversized blooms in fiery pinks, reds, oranges, and sunny yellows. These are the kind of plants that make everything feel a little more “summer in paradise.”

Here’s how to keep them thriving 👇

🌞 Light: Full sun is best (6+ hours daily). The more sun, the more blooms.
💧 Water: Keep soil consistently moist but not soggy. They don’t love drying out completely.
🌱 Feeding: Use a balanced flowering fertilizer every 1–2 weeks during active growth for nonstop blooms.
🌡️ Temperature: These are true tropicals—best growth between 65–90°F. They do not tolerate frost.
🏡 Overwintering (important for NJ): Bring indoors before temps drop below 50°F. Place in a bright window and reduce watering.

With a little love, these can bloom all season long—and even become a show-stopping patio “tree” that stops people in their tracks.

We just received the most stunning new arrival—Esmay Peach Begonias—and the color alone is stopping people in their tracks. Soft peach tones with that delicate, glowing warmth make them feel almost unreal in person. They bring instant charm to shaded spaces, containers, and porch displays.

These begonias aren’t just pretty—they’re also wonderfully easy to care for when you give them the right conditions.

Growing information:
Esmay Peach Begonias thrive in bright, indirect light or partial shade (too much direct sun can scorch their leaves). They prefer well-draining soil and like to stay evenly moist, but never soggy. Think: lightly damp, not wet feet.

They do best in temperatures above 60°F, making them perfect for spring through early fall outdoor displays, or as a bright indoor accent plant. Regular deadheading of spent blooms encourages even more flowering, keeping them looking fresh and full.

If you’re planting in containers or hanging baskets, pair them with other shade-loving plants like ferns or trailing ivy for a lush, layered look.
