A little throwback (with updated pics!) to this bedroom design I created for a client/my longtime friend, Angelia Murshed in Raleigh. We opted for some calm retreat vibes for this one, achieved with some beautiful pieces sourced places like West Elm + Arhaus, plus a gorgeous paint color by Farrow & Ball✨

This basement bathroom was so ugly and outdated, I almost cried.

👉 Limited natural light
👉 2000s tile that never quits

“make it feel like a guest experience”

that was the brief. a detached space in Nashville that needed to feel special. not generic Airbnb. not builder-grade boring. something you actually remember.

so we leaned all the way in. vaulted wood ceiling. navy velvet. a disco ball (obviously). cowboy hats above the console because Nashville.

this is what happens when clients trust the vision. 🤠
