This season has been an adventure and I can’t wait for more. Not every day in the stand ends up with a smile but this one surely did. The morning started with sunbeams through the trees and ended with antlers in the leaves. I rattled this guy in when he was following a scent trail from a doe. I saw the movement in the brush change directions towards me and I knew it was on. He came straight to me and scent checked a scrape I opened up. 10 yds broadside, straight through the heart. I also got it on my trail camera. T2 broadhead got the job done. Big thanks to my number 1 hunting partner . Without her I wouldn’t be able to experience these things. She holds down the fort while I am out trying to make friends with the woodland creatures.
