We would like to give the biggest shout out to Izaiah Gipson for his graduation of a two year Ivy Tech college trade course. In just two weeks, he will also be graduating his senior year from Michigan city high school where he excelled in the classroom, and on the football field. Izaiah came to us about a month ago from the AK Smith center trade school here in Michigan city. He is allowed to come work at Hess Irrigation for a few hours a day in exchange for his credits for his class. (He does also make an hourly wage) Every day, this young man comes to work he has a smile on his face, very upbeat and always willing to learn. We wish Izaiah could stay with us for years to come, but he will be leaving in July to join a local union as an apprentice. Izaiah, we wish you the very best, and want you to know we will be cheering for you.
