here we are at the end of August 2026 - 5 years ago around this time, August 2021, I began professionally cleaning. 🧼
no courses, no clients, no supplies on my first few homes entrusted to me - just faith, an idea, and a way to get out my house and my head and to go help others, while also helping my family. 🫶
when my son got a little older, in the toddler age, he began graciously coming with me! 🩵 not to every house I’ve encountered, but a select few. he’s got many new “aunts” “grandmas” and extra mamas to love him, care, wonder and ask about him. we had a routine in each home I cleaned or organized, I’d pack him breakfast and lunch, put on his cartoons, and I’d get busy but within his same vicinity each clean - a lot of times with the new family members talking and being with or around him too, if they could. 💕
& now my sweet boy has completed his second week of kindergarten! 😭👏
the point of this post update, because I’ve had many people wonder (thank you!!)
Am I still cleaning? — Yes & Amen! 🫧
it was never a “side gig” to pick up to help my family get out of a bind. it’s never been about just the pay for me/us. it’s never been “just a job” I could do while not having my child in daycare or because other jobs I couldn’t work in with him. 👍
I genuinely love what I get to do. 🥰🥹 It’s not a position I dread, or carry shamefully. I have holy pride for this role I’ve been blessed to steward. I love the healthy relationships that are formed, and friendships that are created. I enjoy ushering in peace to homes that were once filled with depression, chaos, or disorder. and I’m satisfied in getting lost in the scraping, scrubbing, wiping, vacuuming, mopping - clearing all the debris after huge life storms. 💞
I do want to grow my business. I want to obtain an LLC and I want to hire on and help other families. these are goals I’m still working on. 🙏
- this was never a side gig.

does your home have hot spots? 😅😍 oh you know, those spots that we let become an “organized” pile, until it’s no longer organized and just a source of overstimulation? I still have a couple, and I actively work through them just a little at a time. but how appreciative this family was to not have to worry about it any more and to be able to take the reigns from here!! school was starting, and the laundry room, needed to be functional again! 🫶 & personally? I loved it so much it was an honor to bring life back to this cute space!! 💗🧺
make a plan, work from top to bottom levels, pile as you go to seperate, label everything after, dust vacuum mop - or hire a specialist! 🥰 either way ~ hard things can be accomplished!! 🙌

I got the chance to do my very first Solid Shower Glass Door transformation! 😍 the white build up was an accumulation of Hard Water staining, Corrosion, and Soap Scum! 🧼
* Hard Water forms from the water not being wiped or squeegeed off after showering. it dries on the glass door and creates water spots that stain the glass.
* Corrosion is created when hard water minerals, soap scum, and humidity get trapped in the microscopic pores of untreated glass, causing permanent chemical etching and surface breakdown.
* Soap Scum is existing when minerals in hard water react chemically with the fatty acids in soap, combining with body oils and leaving a sticky, cloudy film as the water dries. Because bar soaps contain fatty acid components, it tends to leave more soap scum than liquid body wash does.
~ How did this transformation take place?
Cleaning with these properties in affect, consists of needing knowledge, skills, and the tools available to tackle this tasks. Many of the cleaning supplies I used are typical household supplies, but some may need to be specifically purchased in order to complete.
>> Supplies Gathered:
1 Cup of Distilled Vinegar, 1 Cup of Dawn Degreaser Soap, & optional 1/3 cup of heavy duty degreaser. Be very careful mixing chemicals and conduct research and label reading before use.
Non-Abrasive Sponge such as a ScrubDaddy Sponge, or an Electric Scrubber.
SOS Steel Wool Pads. & Soft Cleansers such as CIF Cream, Bars Keeper Friends cream, Soft Scrub Cream, etc.
& a handheld razor blade scraper.
➡️ Step by Step Instructions!!
Spray it down and soaked for about 30mins with the Vinegar and Dawn mixed in a empty spray bottle.
then scrubbed it with an impact drill & brush attachment, in circular motions front and back, then rinsed.
Afterwards, splashed Bars Keepers paste and circular motioned it with an SOS Steel Wool Pad. let it dry for about 20min til it was pasty.
Then I razor blade scraped it at an angle with my handheld scraper. then rinsed, followed with Spray Away Glass Cleaner Foam. cleaned, then dried.
⬇️ After Care for shower glass doors, it’s great to spray RainX to keep the water from continuing to stick to the door, and purchasing a window squeegee to get the splashed water off the door after showers!

Organizing is an area of service that just comes with thorough cleaning! I don’t mess with belongings, for the most part, without being asked to! & I LOVE when I’m asked to!! it’s fun for me! in this getting back on schedule big clean, I got to tackle organizing the pantry, bedroom furniture, bathroom shelving, situating laundry drawers, unboxing moving boxes and itemizing what was in them, finishing off the clean by wiping down, cleaning, then a good vacuum & mop! now they’re set up for monthly cleans to go by smoothly - and every day living a little more lighter than before!! 💗
in some cases though, Focus Organizing may need to be done first before Cleaning service can become a thing for special cases of homes. so if that is you, please reach out if you just don’t know where to start!! 🫶

mold is such a pesky thing that grows, and only gets worse until it’s taken care of! 🦠 when caught in the act of taking care, my clientfriend asked me, “is cleaning therapy for you?” and honestly, it really is. not just for me but for you too! I love getting lost in the scrubbing and the bubbles, watching something go from black to brown to white, getting the dust in places and watching it wipe off onto the tool I’m using, vacuuming all the hair and dirt up and hearing it going into the machine, shining floors and helping entire homes smell good - it’s very therapeutic. and I hope the same is true for the client. I hope me doing this takes a little more off their plate, so they can worry less, and do more as the owner of the home and the many roles they fill. 💗
