Happy National HVAC Tech Day!

Today we're giving a well-earned shoutout to Tyson, Miller, Nick, and Brad.

While most people spend their summer trying to stay cool, these guys spend theirs in attics, on rooftops, and inside mechanical rooms making sure everyone else can.

They're problem solvers, comfort restorers, and occasional detectives when a system decides to stop cooperating.

Thanks for all the hard work, long days, and dedication you bring to the job. We're proud to have you on the team.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there, especially the ones spending their days in attics, crawlspaces, mechanical rooms, trenches, and rooftops so their families can have a little more comfort at home.

This time of year is one of our busiest, and many of our team members are putting in long hours to keep Siskiyou County cool, powered, and running smoothly. Behind every service call, installation, and emergency repair is a dad working hard to provide for the people he loves.

To all the fathers on our team, thank you for your dedication, your sacrifices, your bad jokes, and your uncanny ability to fix things nobody else can. We appreciate everything you do, both on the job and at home.

You know it's going to be an interesting day when a 70-ton crane shows up.

We recently replaced four rooftop package heat pumps at SOLANO'S in Mount Shasta. Getting the old units down and the new units up took the largest crane we've used to date, a 70-ton Dura Crane.

A lot of planning, a great crew, and one very large crane later, the new equipment is up and running.

Thanks to Solano's for the opportunity and to Dura Crane for helping make the lift happen. We're proud to be part of projects that help keep local businesses comfortable and running smoothly.

Five years ago, Jamie, Tom, Milo, and Jesse joined All Trade Services as part of the transition from Cross Petroleum's kerosene division.

Over the years, each of them played an important role in helping us grow and better serve our community. Jamie became the steady hand behind our office operations, while Tom continued building a reputation as one of the region's most trusted kerosene specialists.

Along the way, Milo helped guide us through those early years, and Jesse spent nearly five years wearing many hats before recently beginning his next chapter. We miss him dearly and are grateful for everything he contributed during his time with us.

Today, we're celebrating Jamie and Tom on five years with All Trade Services, while also taking a moment to recognize the impact all four had on our company.

Thank you, Jamie, Tom, Milo, and Jesse. We're proud to have shared this journey with you.

The forecast is calling for our first real stretch of summer heat this weekend, which means AC systems across Siskiyou County are about to see their first game action of the season.

Helpful Hint: Let your ceiling fan help your AC.

As temperatures start climbing, make sure your ceiling fans are spinning counterclockwise.

In summer mode, the fan pushes air downward, helping circulate the cool air your AC is already producing. That means more consistent temperatures throughout your home and fewer hot spots in bedrooms, living rooms, and upstairs spaces.

Your fan doesn't actually lower the temperature, but it can make your home feel cooler and help your AC work a little less to keep you comfortable.

A quick switch of a small button on the fan can make a bigger difference than most people realize.
