A lot of folks who call us for heating and cooling do not realize we also do electrical work.

We install EV chargers, RV circuits, hot tub electrical, and panel upgrades.

These are the kinds of projects that make a real practical difference in how your home works, and it is a lot easier to have one team that knows your home handle all of it rather than calling around to find someone new.

We have been doing electrical work in homes throughout Thurston County alongside our HVAC work for years. We know how these homes are built, what they typically need, and how to get it done cleanly.

If you have a project on your list, give us a call at (360) 615-2740.

One of the most common reasons homeowners around Olympia switch to ductless is the energy bill. Here is why it tends to make a noticeable difference.

Traditional heating and cooling systems run the whole house whether you are using it or not. The ductless system works by zone. You cool the bedroom at night and the living room during the day.

You are not running a full system to condition the guest room that nobody has been in since Thanksgiving or the garage that is just being used for storage.

In older homes especially, where the original heating system was never all that efficient, the difference can show up pretty quickly on the utility bill. We hear it from customers regularly in the first few months after install.

If you are curious whether ductless makes financial sense for your home specifically, we are happy to have that conversation. We will give you a straight answer, not a sales pitch.

"The tech didn't just service the system. He taught me things I didn't know about my own equipment. I really appreciated that."

That is exactly what we are going for. Not just show up, run through the checklist, and hand over a receipt. But actually take a few minutes to explain what you found, what is normal, what to keep an eye on.

Most homeowners are not HVAC people and they should not have to be.
We are.

Bob has been with us for years and it means a lot that he took the time to write that.

Thank you, Bob. Thank you for trusting us with your home comfort!

We put together a summer readiness guide for homeowners in the area.

It covers what to check before the heat arrives, what is worth scheduling now versus what can wait, and a few practical things you can do to keep your energy bills from spiking when you are running the system all day.

Nothing complicated. Just stuff from the team that services these systems every day in homes around Thurston County.

Worth a read before you need it.

One of the most common questions we get: why is ductless heating and cooling a good fit for homes in the Pacific Northwest?

We asked Cory, one of the owners of Alpine Ductless. Here is what he had to say firsthand.

Most homeowners have never thought too hard about what a ductless service visit actually involves. So here is a quick look at what we are doing when we show up.

We check refrigerant levels and look for any slow leaks that would not be obvious from inside the house. We clean the blower wheel, which collects dust and debris over time and will noticeably kill the system's efficiency if it goes too long without attention.

We clear the drain line so you are not dealing with water backing up in July. We go through all the electrical connections and test the system zone by zone to make sure everything is working the way it should.

The whole thing takes about an hour. It is not the most exciting work, but skipping it year after year is usually what leads to that call in the middle of a heat wave when something stops working and you need someone out right away.

A system that gets maintained runs better, lasts longer, and does not surprise you. We have openings in the next couple of weeks if you want to get ahead of summer.

Spring allergies are bad enough on their own. Your ductless system should be helping, not making things worse.

When the filters are clogged and the blower wheel has a full season of dust and pollen built up on it, the system stops filtering and starts recirculating. That means all of the allergens it should be capturing are just moving around your house instead.

If it has been more than a year since your last service, spring is a good time to get it done.

You will notice the difference in how the air feels, and your system will run a lot better going into summer when you are actually relying on it.

We are booking service visits now and have openings in the next couple of weeks.
