We’re excited to share a first look inside our new t r b ARCHITECTURE office.

Designed as both a working studio and a client-focused environment, the space reflects how we approach every project: purposeful, efficient, collaborative, and grounded in the details. Clean glass lines, open work areas, integrated presentation space, and a refined material palette create a modern office that supports clear communication and thoughtful design.

Throughout the office, subtle design elements pay homage to Omaha, including graphic references to the city’s street grid and urban fabric. These moments connect our work back to the community we serve and remind us that great design is always rooted in place.

This new office gives our team a stronger platform to serve our past, current, and future clients with the greatest value: practical insight, creative solutions, and a process built around trust.

Principal Architect Travis Brodersen recently had the opportunity to attend the first annual LP® SmartSide® Architectural Symposium in Charleston, South Carolina — an inspiring event that brought together architects from across the country to share ideas, explore innovation, and strengthen connections within the design community.

From engaging discussions on emerging building technologies and product innovation to educational sessions focused on performance, durability, and design applications, the symposium offered valuable insight into the future of exterior cladding and architectural design. The experience was further enriched through local tours that highlighted Charleston’s unique architectural character and history, creating meaningful conversations around craftsmanship, context, and materiality.

Events like this reinforce the importance of continued learning, collaboration, and industry partnerships in advancing thoughtful design solutions for our clients and communities.

Stopped by a custom office suite we’ve been developing for a client—now nearing completion—and it’s rewarding to see the vision taking shape in the built environment.

There’s always a moment in a project where the drawings give way to something tangible, and today was one of those days. The materials, proportions, and light are all starting to align exactly as intended.

We’re looking forward to sharing the fully realized space once it’s furnished and in use. The final layer always tells the full story.

We’re proud to share the completion of Marrow, a modern American bistro on Omaha’s southwest edge, brought to life in collaboration with chef-restaurateur Jared Clarke and the team behind Railcar, Timber, and Pasta Amore.

At the heart of the space—and the experience—is a custom vertical rotisserie and live-fire kitchen, shaping both the menu and the architectural response. The design leans into this energy, creating a warm, grounded environment that reflects the depth, craft, and authenticity of the food itself.

Marrow’s menu celebrates slow-roasted meats, expressive steaks, and seasonal sides—comfort-forward dishes elevated through technique and thoughtful sourcing. That same balance guided the interiors: refined but approachable, polished yet unpretentious. The result is a dining room that supports everything from a casual weeknight dinner to a meaningful celebration.

Inspired by Chef Clarke’s foundation in American comfort food with French influence and wood-fired tradition, Marrow was designed as a place to slow down, gather, and savor the experience—where the architecture quietly frames what matters most: good food, shared moments, and time well spent.

A new chapter for Stories Coffee has officially opened near 156th & Maple.

Designed by t r b ARCHITECTURE, this latest location builds on what people already love—great coffee, genuine service, and a strong sense of community—while introducing an updated interior experience that reflects the brand’s continued evolution.

The space was thoughtfully crafted to support connection. Warm materials, refined detailing, and a comfortable rhythm of seating create an environment that feels both familiar and fresh. It’s a place designed to linger, meet, and return to.

Easter reminds us that renewal is at the heart of both faith and the built environment.

The story of Easter is one of resurrection, hope, and new life. For centuries, architecture has helped give physical form to that message — from the humble cross on a hill to cathedrals filled with light, designed to lift our eyes and spirits.

Spaces of worship have always been about more than walls and structure. They are places where light enters darkness, where communities gather, and where the story of redemption is remembered and celebrated.
