We are excited to stock potheadsceramics planters! Handmade in Portland by artist Andrew.

About their process:

I greatly enjoy using celadon and clear glaze to accentuate the impurities within my clays, creating moles and freckles on my potheads. Everything is hand thrown, and sculpted, and made locally.

Fertilizing season is upon us! 🍃 🌺

We are proud to carry Arber products; this women-founded and led company creates organic fertilizers and plant care products. Their formulas are made from recycled supermarket waste!

Arber fertilizer has the benefit of working for both indoor and outdoor plants. For outdoor plants use a ratio of 1 cap per 32oz of water and for indoor use 1/2 a cap.

Aeschynanthus, commonly known as the Lipstick Plant, has about 150 species in the family. This vining plant is known for their flowers that resemble lipstick-like buds that can come in various colors and shapes depending on the species.

Pro tip: In order to get your Lipstick Plant to flower, use an orchid or violet fertilizer during the spring and summer to promote blooms.

In this reel we create a potting mix for Hoyas! We use the LECA and chunky perlite to make the soil well-draining, charcoal to bring air into the mix, and sphagnum to retain a small amount of moisture.
