September 1st I woke up and the universe was doing everything in its power to slow me down.
I needed to arrive at the pronto pup stand 1 hour early but Gaia had other plans for me!
My coffee filter broke 5 times. π
I wasnt even upset, I laughed because I know everything happens for a reason.
I stepped both my feet into the garden and walked into a massive spider web. I paused to look around, I had just been talking about how the morning glories have really taken over my yard.
In past years I have attempted to rip these plants out, I never planted these seeds. What started out as growing on one fence, the first thing I would see evey morning, had spread and grown and is now taking over multiple different places. These flowers have changed over the years. They started a deep purple and now I look around to find blue, pink, and purple in multiple shades.
I thanked the spider for allowing me to slow down and appreciate the little things.
I was already running late. My garage door wouldnt close with the opener so I got out to close it from the inside. Upon leaving i noticed my sunflowers were nearly fully opened, so I admired their beauty. I dodged the spider web that I know is always there. Stepped up ontop of these cement paths I have stacked and was greatful to take the time to appreciate my garden which I have been dearly missing.
Traffic to the parking garage was horrible and I wasnt even upset, I just enjoyed the music and the ride. I parked on the rooftop and took the stairs down. There was not a bus waiting for me, I had missed it.
There was a kid working and I walked over to chat with him. His name was TJ. I asked him how much he got paid to do this job, which consists of writing down arrival and departure times for the shuttle buses. He said this was volunteer work, and I was shook. I started asking more questions. This twenty year old kid came all the way from chicago to volunteer, sixteen plus hours a day. I asked him , what do you want to do with your life, and he told me after this , he was going to apply for the military in order to get health benefits, then to ultimately use that in order to go to college. I laughed , and I told him , "you don't need to do what other people want you to do and that if he wanted to go to college now is the time and you shouldn't be waiting or giving up you life. You can have your heart's greatest desire and quantum leap through all the bu****it." I told him a story about what ive been going through the last few months. I told him this world we live in has us believing that we need to do x.Y z in order to live a fulfilling life. That's society has been brainwashed us into doing things for other people/organizations instead of for ourselves. I said, why don't you apply for scholarships and tell them about all this volunteer work that you've been doing and know in your heart that you can do whatever it is , your heart desires. Because that is exactly how our reality works. It is based off our belief systems we have.
I wish someone would have believed in me and told me to not follow the status quo. This is your life and you dont need to sell your soul for a paycheck or a "maybe" ill come back alive , then go to collage.
Everything always works out perfectly and exceeds my wildest expectations. I Was never late that day I was precisely on time, in the perfect place I was supposed to be at the exact time.
There are no coincidences , in life , you just have to open your eyes and your heart to and see what's right in front of you. βοΈπ§‘β¨οΈ
Talk to people because we are all mirrors of ourselves just in different bodies and different waves. Im so thankful to have been "late".
