An astrolabe-inspired door developed as a layered assembly—CNC-cut MDF base with plasma-cut steel elements, primed and finished in VeroMetal.

SanDiego Aia 2026 at San Diego Convention Center is in the books.

Last week marked our first time participating in the conference, and we’re proud of what our team pulled off. We brought our custom booth to the show floor, packed with prototypes and examples of what we do best— because CUSTOM IS OUR STANDARD.

In addition to our own exhibit, we designed and built the conference feature showcasing San Diego’s award winning projects, because after all WE BUILD COOL S**T too.

The studio tour was another highlight. It was great to welcome visitors into our shop, walk through our process, talk fabrication and design, and share some tacos and drinks along the way.

A huge thank you to everyone on the team who helped make it happen.
This one took a full team effort.

But when came to us, we sure did.

They approached us to create a feature representing San Diego’s design community, and you’ll find it on the floor of this year’s Expo.

We’ve also got a home base at Booth 812, where you can see our work up close, talk shop, or just track us down at happy hour. We’re there both days, so come say hi!

From algorithm to artifact.

This piece started as a parametric pattern study, moved through digital modeling and CNC carving, and finished as a tactile surface full of depth, shadow, and texture. Watching computation translate into material form never gets old.
