🏛️🧱 Honoring a Campus Legacy, Designing for the Future 🤼♂️🏋️♀️
Completed in 1935, Santa Rosa Junior College’s historic Tauzer Gymnasium has supported generations of students, hosting everything from Bear Cub basketball and wrestling to dance, rallies, and even a trampoline room during the 1960s trampoline craze!
Today, this beloved campus landmark has been renewed from the inside out. Its comprehensive modernization preserves the charm of the ivy-clad brick exterior while transforming the interior into an inclusive, state-of-the-art home for SRJC’s Kinesiology, Athletics, and Dance Department.
The revitalized facility features a modern wrestling venue, upgraded fitness and sports medicine spaces, new dance studios and classrooms, enhanced accessibility, dedicated areas for Adapted Physical Education, and an outdoor teaching and exercise area.
We’re proud to help write the next chapter in the story of this remarkable campus landmark. 🧡
Special thanks to our valued project partners: Alten Construction, ZFA Structural Engineers, CSWST2, QUADRIGA Landscape Architecture and Planning, Inc., Interface Engineering, Guidepost Solutions, Cu***ng Group, and Skyline Engineering. Their expertise and collaboration were instrumental in bringing this transformative project to life. 🙌🧡
