A modern hacienda, where architecture dissolves into landscape.

The Panther Ridge Residence in Lakewood Ranch is a study in balance. Rooted in tropical influence and shaped by its natural surroundings, it sits across 7.8 acres of pines, oaks, and reflective water. The home is both grounded and fluid in its expression.

Two koi ponds anchor the structure at opposing corners, while a cascading waterfall breathes life into the heart of a central courtyard, creating an ever-present dialogue between movement and stillness.

Inside, openness reigns. Light filters through expansive volumes, warm woods soften the modern palette, and natural materials blur the boundary between interior and exterior. Every element is intentional, responding to climate, context, and the rhythm of the land.

This is more than a residence. It’s an immersive experience, where architecture becomes environment.

Art Announcement: Javi Suárez will be featured in Architects Who Art: Designing the Cultural Coast – an exhibition celebrating the intersection of architecture, art, and creative expression at the Art Center Sarasota.

Opening Thursday, May 21 from 5–7 PM, the exhibition explores how architects translate their understanding of space, form, and structure into artistic works beyond the built environment.

Presented by Architecture Sarasota and co-curated by Morris Hylton III, the exhibition highlights architect-artists whose work continues to shape Sarasota’s rich cultural and architectural legacy.

We’re honored to see Javi’s work included among such an inspiring group of creatives helping define the Cultural Coast.
