Jason, alongside APX, participated in the 19th Annual DakotAbilities Golf Classic in Sioux Falls! ⛳🏌🏼

He joined 144 golfers from across the community in support of DakotaAbilities, helping raise funds for the organization's important work. It was a great day on the course for an even greater cause.

The new Rapid City / Black Hills KOA General Store is officially open! 🏕️👏🏼

Designed to support the campground's growing popularity, this new facility includes a KOA registration area, expanded retail space, meeting rooms, laundry facilities, restrooms, showers, and a kitchen dedicated to its famous pancake breakfasts. 🥞

Architecture Incorporated was proud to partner with MAC Construction on this project that enhances the guest experience while serving both the local community and visitors from across the country. We're excited to see the positive impact this new space will have for years to come!

This year marked the completion of the headquarters for LodgeNet (now SONIFI Solutions) in Sioux Falls. 🏢

The campus was designed to include a warehouse and assembly facility, two two-story open-office buildings, a multipurpose cafetorium, and a showcase administration building. Exterior split-face masonry in a blend of warm colors helped create a welcoming campus atmosphere while softening the scale of the expansive complex. Inside, the design successfully balanced the need for security with the company's vision of encouraging employee connection and community.

While our work has evolved over the past five decades, our approach has remained rooted in providing Creative Solutions and Proven Service. From a diverse portfolio of projects to the relationships we have built along the way, we are grateful for every client, partner, and team member who has been part of our story.

This year marked the beginning of the design for the Dow Rummel Chapel in Sioux Falls! ⛪

Created as an addition to the Dow Rummel Village, the chapel was designed to seat 150 residents and guests. Beautiful stained-glass windows throughout the space illustrated Bible verses representing every season of life, a theme thoughtfully woven throughout the building's overall design. Interior foundations and planters helped create a warm, peaceful, and welcoming environment for residents to gather, reflect, and worship.

Kris Bjerke was honored with an Emeritus Membership with The American Institute of Architects in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the field of architecture and her exceptional leadership within AIA South Dakota! 🏅👏🏼

An Architect and Interior Designer, Kris dedicated 15 years to Architecture Incorporated before retiring in June 2025. Throughout her career, she played a significant role in shaping architecture in South Dakota throughout her leadership, expertise, and commitment to the profession.

We are grateful for Kris' contributions to our firm and the architectural community, and we celebrate this well-deserved recognition and her incredible career accomplishments!
