It was a longer bunk bed journey than we usually take! But we took it one salvaged board after another! And we finally finished. It looked daunting at first, but it really wasn’t bad! Just one simple problem solved at a time.

Such an honor to work with Amy on this one, and I hope she’s proud of the vision she helped craft! I’m proud of our team, because every one of us had a hand in this one! We appreciate you letting us get into our “kid mode” on this one. These bunks have a lot of quirky, fun details like sliding doors, sconces, funky wallpaper and bookcase rails that will add to the magic when it’s all done up!

What you really have here is a set of bunks ready for “The Yellowstone” bunkhouse.❤️ Yeehaw!

A little peek behind the curtain at the OHW approach to woodworking from the COVID days. When people actually had 3 mins to watch a video about wood! Either way, it was fun to find this video in my vault and still feel this way about work, though it’s getting harder and harder to slow it all down!

This was a slow project! Took a long time and everyone earned gold stars for patience and kindness. It was also probably the most character filled, eclectic, and well-executed project I’ve been invited into. Our team (2 people strong at the time) did the solid oak interior doors, mantel & casework. What a cool team and some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Shout out to for blending her designs with home owners style. Such a welcoming, comfortable space.❤️

Josiah Hunter - Here you’ll find a well of depth and kindness and interest. He’s an artisan and a thinker. Just the kind of human you want teaching your kids. He’s worked hard to complete his teaching degree while raising kids and working. Congrats on getting a sweet gig teaching high school manufacturing! We need that class y’all! Lucky kids!

He’s worked with us for years throughout his education and I’m just so proud that his work and sacrifice and hopes are coming to fruition.

So, now we need more help on our team, but I’ll post about that later and cry about that now.
