Harvest basket time! With my work schedule right now… I can’t keep up! So much is going in the freezer to deal with later! Haha

One of my favorite things about my garden this year has been all of the flowers. My yard is full of pollinators and this week monarch butterflies! I absolutely love it. As I was harvesting my produce, I decided to make an arrangement for my neighbor since her birthday is today. I love the variety I have this year and can not wait to spend cold winter days starting seeds for next years flowers.

Today I am going to showcase one of my heavy producers and that is a Cucamelon. They are tiny little watermelon shaped cucumbers. They have a cucumber flavor with a bit of bitterness. I love adding them to my charcuterie boards and salads!

Dinner from the garden minus the lettuce, cheese, and bread! Beautiful, healthy, and delicious!

I was late getting my fall crops started, but luckily Tanner at SolFarm has some at his stand. The starts looked great he has lettuce 3 kinds, broccoli, cabbage, kale, Kohlarabi, beets! Plus all sorts of great produce! I love the Carmen peppers and candy onions he sells!

Tonight’s harvest! I pulled a lot of tomatoes because all the rain is making them split. This has been a challenging grow year. I have never had to throw so many out that have cracked or just rotted on the vine. So if you are having these problems, know you are not alone.

Pulling seeds to plant in the garden for a fall crop. This year I have 3 maybe a fourth bed that will be emptying out soon for fall crops. I am excited to really do a fall garden this year! Is anyone else planting a fall garden or filling in empty spaces?
