I went out to water in the greenhouse and saw all these beauties in the garden. The bright purple is a celome and I’m absolutely in love, the dark red is a poppy, and the yellow with pink is a dahlia! I picked up the dahlia and poppy at the Nine Square Feet Plant Swap this spring.

Last nights harvest from the garden. Amish Snap Peas, Azur, Green Vienna, and jet star Kohlarabi, garlic scapes, and the last of my first batch of lettuce. I will have to decide to do bush beans, bush cucumbers, or try some more lettuce in the empty space in the garden from the lettuce.

My neighbor has the best luck with cauliflower! I grew this and gave her some while I was out planting mine. Mine got hurt by hail and bunny snacks, but I replanted and covered mine, so fingers crossed mine look this good! But… I do take credit because I did grow this from seed first! Hahaha This is Purple of Sicily Cauliflower. I will be starting a new batch of fall seeds and this will definitely be in the batch. It’s so pretty!

This weather today!!! I wish I would have gotten out to the garden earlier today but this week looks to be great! I’m planning on getting my to do list tackled this week! If you watched last nights video you saw I still have plenty in the greenhouse to up pot or plant still! Hopefully that will all be done this week!

I got out to the garden today and looked at the forecast…. One hour til rain. So I hustled around got a bunch planted and it started raining. So I decided it was the perfect opportunity to sit back with a lemonade and relax in the greenhouse. It’s absolutely so peaceful in here when it rains.

How did everyone’s gardens hold up to the storms today? Ours looks good maybe a couple tomato plants a little mad, but they needed pruned and restaked this weekend anyways. Here’s the cutest little raindrop on my Azur Kohlarabi last night before the storms rolled in.

I added some basil to my front porch area planters this year and it is looking so good! We have pizza and pasta scheduled soon so I will be popping off the tops of the basil so it’ll keep going all summer long. I am loving all the fresh herbs and produce coming in the gardens!
