I just checked the forecast tomorrow is goi g to be chilly! So looks like we’ll open up this weekend! And the weather looks beautiful!

I am going to start some sunflowers for my flower pots this week. Would anyone be interested in some when they are ready? If so I’ll plant a few extra rows for you all! I’m also doing another round of lettuce, herbs, and trying out a few flowers too.

Got home from traveling for work! I photographed 7 graduations in 4 days! I’m exhausted is the least I can say right now. But I had to open my happy mail of new or restocked seeds! Some will go into the garden right away like the climbing nasturtiums, and okra. But I plan to start a batch of herbs and try those mini roses next week. I do plan to open a few hours this week for plants, originally I was thinking Wednesday afternoon/evening, but I have work and a doctors appointment now. So I will watch the forecast for Thursday and Saturday.

I was just scrolling social media and I guess there is a tomato shortage at stores. Another video was talking about chefs paying $10 for heirloom beefsteaks! I planted 60-65 plants so far…. I’m like nah we’ll be fine here! Hahaha! I’m about to be tomato rich! Hehe.

My first bed of tomatos is in! Whew! Now to make final selections for the last two beds! That’s the hard part. I have room for about 60 tomatoes but I like to do 2 of each. This year I have so many great new varieties to try! But, the good news anything that doesn’t make it into the garden will be up for sale!

Nothing better than growing your own food! We started these vadallia onions as teeny little starts and now we have plenty of onions to last us months! We still have our white, red, and yellow onions growing, but for now we’ll be feasting on these!!!
