With heartfelt thanks from Bob Bertog ~

Your love and support during the hardest days of my family's lives have meant more than words can fully capture. When we lost our daughter Ali and our grandson Hank due to health complications, we were overwhelmed with grief—and just as overwhelmed by the kindness that surrounded us.

Thank you for the cards, calls, meals, flowers and simply for showing up. Thank you for sitting with us in silence when there was nothing to say, and for sharing your own memories of Ali, which have brought us unexpected moments of comfort and even laughter amid the sorrow.

My family and I are learning, slowly, how to carry this loss. Knowing we do not have to carry it alone has made all the difference. Please know how deeply grateful we are for your presence in our lives.
