A huge thank you to ER24 Ambulance Service and David Blake, our volunteer medic, for spending the morning with the children at Piccolo Montessori School.

It was not only an educational experience, but also a fun and interactive one, giving the children the opportunity to learn about the ambulance equipment and even explore the ambulance themselves.

We had a great time at the Community Easter Walk and Egg Hunt with the Bothasig Neighbourhood Watch and CPF! Events like these are a fantastic way to bring the community together, fostering unity and shared enjoyment. A Wonderful Event with Edgemead Neighbourhood Watch & ER24

Today’s event was truly delightful, featuring the Edgemead Neighbourhood Watch and ER24.

The ENW team prepared delicious boerewors rolls, serving them hot and fresh to the community and ER24 provided valuable information to those interested in learning CPR.

Additionally, our Armed Response Officers participated and received training on how to perform CPR.

At approximately 17h50 our Control Centre received a panic activation from a local business store in Edgemead.

Our Response Team was dispatched immediately.

Officer Langmann arrived and it was reported that there had been a shop lifting and that the suspect had also pulled a knife on a staff member.

The suspect was detained for everyone's safety and Bothasig SAPS was notified.

The scene was then handed over to SAPS.
