PROJECT FEATURE | STRATHMORE
This substantial renovation in Strathmore transformed the existing residence into a highly individual family home designed for generous everyday living, large-scale entertaining and an extensive car collection.
CES Design worked with the existing double-brick home, reconfiguring and expanding it across two levels to create five bedrooms, multiple living areas and a strong connection between the interior and outdoor entertaining spaces.
The finished home combines grand proportions and traditional craftsmanship with a rich, refined material palette. Exposed brickwork, natural stone, dark timber detailing and statement joinery give the interiors a warm and established character, while expansive glazing and balconies take advantage of the elevated site and surrounding valley views.
A major focus of the design was creating spaces tailored specifically to the owners’ lifestyle, including extensive garaging, a home gym and bar, generous family living areas and an enclosed alfresco overlooking the pool and sunken firepit.
