Team2 Architects Team2 Architects is a Sydney based practice established in 2003 under the directorship of Zack Ashby

Established in 2003, and now working out of studios in Sydney and Melbourne, Zack Ashby and Richard Webster have developed the practice into a core group of over 30 talented architects and designers who share a common goal to produce the highest quality buildings across multiple sectors including residential, healthcare, aged care, commercial, leisure and industrial. Team2 work with the latest BIM

technology platforms, allowing three-dimensional design to be considered from the outset. A high-speed and secure internet link promotes collaborative working with others and the in-house design ethos allows project delivery in traditional, modular and timber construction methodologies. Team2 are recognised as leaders in modular construction and have completed many award winning projects using this construction method. The name 'Team2' represents the partnership between architect and client; a collaboration which we believe is key to achieving excellence in design. We are committed to producing sophisticated, high quality buildings which fulfil our client’s requirements and exceed their expectations. Excellence in design and successful execution are central to our approach to each commission and this has resulted in establishing long term relationships with numerous clients across all sectors.

Team2 was pleased to attend the recent topping out ceremony for The Collective, an exciting residential project developed by TWT Property Group in the heart of St Leonards, marking the completion of the building’s structure.

This project forms the first stage of a larger multi-building luxury development, comprising 93 apartments above a four-storey podium with 3,000m² of retail and commercial space, constructed by Westbourne Constructions, with Mainway Project Management overseeing project delivery.

Team2 has been engaged for the design and delivery of the project, working in collaboration with DBI Interiors to help shape a high-quality addition to the evolving St Leonards precinct. We look forward to seeing the next stages of the development progress on site.

Team2 has been proud to sponsor Ollie Bestwick following his selection for the Australian Men’s Indoor Hockey Futures Team, which has recently competed in the USA. The team participated in the 2026 Big Apple Indoor Hockey Tournament, held this week in Philadelphia.

The Australian Men’s team remained undefeated throughout the whole tournament, taking out the gold medal in the Grand Final against OKD 2-1.

Team2 was delighted to join Levande and Growthbuilt in celebrating the topping-out of Cardinal Freeman Retirement Village, a significant milestone marking completion of the concrete structure from basement to roof.

The development will deliver 41 independent living apartments across five storeys, complemented by thoughtfully designed shared spaces including dining areas, kitchen servery, bathrooms, staff offices, and a library to support community living. The concept design was undertaken by AJC Architects.

It’s exciting to see the building take shape, and we look forward to continuing our work with the team as the project progresses toward completion.

We’re proud to announce the completion of a new cancer treatment facility in the Manning Great Lakes region of NSW, delivered for Cancer Care Associates by Lipman Pty Ltd.

Team2 was engaged as Architect from schematic design through to construction and completion, delivering a purpose-built radiation oncology department with dedicated support and staff facilities.
This important development brings vital treatment services closer to home, significantly reducing the need for patients in the region to travel long distances to access care typically available only in larger metropolitan centres.

We’re pleased to have contributed to a project that strengthens local healthcare infrastructure and supports the wellbeing of the Manning Great Lakes community.

Team2 is excited to share the completion of upgrades across several TAFE NSW campuses, including Granville, Haymarket, Kogarah, Randwick, Ryde, St Leonards and Ultimo.

These impressive TAFE Entry and Customer Experience refurbishments were delivered by Team2 Architects and Team2 Interiors, who had the pleasure of leading the Design and providing Site Services in collaboration with the outstanding project management and construction teams at JLL and Trade Wind Constructions. The final outcomes for these projects bring our shared vision to life, creating spaces that are both visually engaging and thoughtfully designed.

We thank TAFE NSW for the opportunity and look forward to continuing our contributions and collaborations in this space.

Team2 is delighted to have completed architectural services for EVT - Entertainment | Ventures | Travel latest cinematic destination, Australasia’s largest full-immersion 4DX auditorium at Event Cinemas Marion, Adelaide. The project joins a growing suite of cinemas delivered by Team2 Architects for EVT: 4DX Castle Hill NSW, Innaloo WA and IMAX Pacific Fair QLD.

Team2’s engagement spanned from Concept Design through to Construction and Site Services. Key responsibilities involved coordinating specialist services to support a larger-format screen, a purpose-designed projection porthole for advanced technology, and bespoke platforms for luxury recliner seating. Detailed sightline analysis was undertaken to ensure every seat achieved clear, uninterrupted viewing.

All design and coordination were undertaken within a fully integrated 3D environment, utilising Revit for modelling and Enscape for live walkthroughs during coordination workshops. Comprehensive sightline studies ensured the existing curved platform geometry delivered uninterrupted views from every seat while meeting laser exclusion requirements set by equipment manufacturers.

Delivered in close collaboration with EVT and specialist consultants, the project offers audiences an immersive, world-class cinema experience where architectural design supports cutting-edge entertainment.

We’re grateful for another fantastic year for Team2 Architects and would like to thank everyone for their support throughout 2025. Our office will be closed from Friday 19 December and will reopen on Monday 12 January 2026.

We’re pleased to share the completion of Watermark Residences at Newgreens Chatswood, a luxury retirement living community delivered by Pariter and Watermark Living at Chatswood Golf Club, with the overall masterplan led by Marchese Partners.

As part of the development, a new clubhouse has been delivered for the club, incorporating a café, wellness centre, cinema, function room, pro shop, and a top-floor restaurant and bar with sweeping views across the fairways.

Team2 Interiors was engaged to realise the interior vision, building on the original concept design by internationally renowned designer nic graham.

Thank you to all involved. It has been a rewarding collaboration, resulting in refined, welcoming spaces that support lifestyle, wellbeing, and community, beautifully captured by Sara Vita Photography.

Yesterday, our Melbourne office celebrated Christmas in true Team2 style, a day filled with laughter, great food, and plenty of festive cheer.

The celebrations began with a delicious lunch at Supernormal on Flinders Lane, followed by an exciting challenge at AdventureRooms Australia , where teamwork and problem-solving were put to the test!

It was the perfect way to wrap up the year and celebrate the incredible people who make Team2 such a fantastic place to work. 💫

Team2 Architects is proud to announce our sponsorship of Ollie Bestwick, who has been selected to represent Australia as part of the U21 Country Men’s Hockey Team competing in Indonesia.

Ollie and his teammates are embarking on a three-city competitive tour across Jakarta, Bandung, and Surabaya, where they’ll take on international opposition and continue to develop as emerging leaders in Australian hockey.

We are thrilled to support Ollie on this incredible journey and extend our best wishes to both the Men’s and Women’s U21 Country Teams as they showcase their talent abroad. Good luck, team Australia!
